What a gem of a home! With 2 adults and 5 Children on our first trip to Disney we hit the jackpot! We had enough rooms for us to each have our own space. The pool and splash pad were great for our two days of downtime from the parks. I enjoyed two mornings of a neighborhood run, so clean and well maintained subdivision! And boy was it close to all things Disney, plus local restaurants and grocery were easy to get to. My 4 year old daughter calls it our "new home" when she refers to the castle bed, the pool and the Snow White and 7 dwarfs that " watched over her" as she slept! I wish it was our new home! Disney is a big expense for a family of seven, and can be very stressful. Having this home and all the amenities of being in our own home, took some of that stress away! Thank you Wendy and Ann for your immediate communication when I could not figure out the air condition! Very impressed!!
The is an awesome home. This is the third time we have stayed at Formosa Gardens, but this has been our best experience by far. Each our our parties had their own room with bathrooms which was great. The six bathrooms was a big deal. It is very close to the parks. Being so close to Disney means that it is faster to get to the parks than actually staying on Disney property. It is so nice having a relaxed private place to gather with a large party either during the busiest part of the day or just the beginning or ending meal of the day. The pool and hot tub was fabulous with even a great splashed. The home was in wonderful shape. The owners had a great eye for detail having everything needed for a large group with kids. The kitchen had every kind of dishes needed for toddlers to adults. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large enough for cribs which were included and the furniture was comfortable. The house was perfect for our needs. We definitely would like to stay here the next time we come to Florida. The only thing that we regret about the house is that we could not stay longer.
The property was exactly like described. It had all of the small things that make a stay nice such has silverware, towels, toiletries, cookware, and so on. Some of these houses have a room where they lock all of that stuff up and who remembers to bring things like a coffee filter. There was a very small issue with the splash pad not working when arrived. I contacted the manager and within an hour it was fixed. To me that speaks volumes on the professionalism that this property is treated with, I doubt I could find someone to come and fix my pool within an hour. They have a cleaning service between stays so it is clean. Over all would recommend and stay again. Very easy to get to all of the parks and grocery/food/ anything you would need is no more than 5 miles away. Also got security deposit back without asking so not stingy there.
We would like to thank Wendy and her management team, Ann and Reggie for making us feel special and providing us with an extremely clean, well equipped home. The pool is amazing along with the splash pad, and the home is beautiful and update to date with state of the art furnishings. I have stayed in Formosa Garden Estates four consecutive years in different homes, and I can say this home beats them all in cleanliness, comfort, and well cared for. The house is also extremely close to all Disney attractions. If we return to Formosa Garden Estates, I will be contacting Wendy to rent one of her homes. I highly recommend anyone looking at homes to rent, seek out one of Wendy's homes. You won't be sorry! Thanks again Wendy. - Adrienne
We arrived to find the property exactly as advertised. The home is well maintained and the furnishings are first class. We had eleven in our group and the king en-suites were wonderful. The pool and hot tub are great to have right outside the door. We never felt crowded during our stay. The home is stocked with an abundance of towels. The washer/dryer made it easy for us to pack light on this trip and do laundry each day. The kitchen is equipped for any plans you may have for cooking, although we mostly did just breakfast. We spent most of our time at the parks. We wished that we had, had more time to spend enjoying the amenities that the home offers. Wendy was great to work with and Reggie was a great help as well. I have already recommended the home to friends and we will certainly choose this home again for our next family trip to Florida.
