LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! This home gives you easy access to all of the activities of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. AND we do not raise our rates during the time that you and your family really want to be here. We charge one fair rate year around.
Whether you are relaxing in the evenings on the extra large deck overlooking the fairway or sipping a hot cup of coffee in the mornings on the second story balcony of the master suite, being a guest in our home will help build memories for you and your family of a wonderful vacation.
We have satellite TV, Free Wireless Internet, a fully equipped kitchen, nine beds that will sleep 12 comfortably. We have three normal bedrooms, two full baths and our “dorm room” over the garage that has four extra long twin beds. Forget about expensive laundry service! Stay with us and enjoy free use of our washing machine and dryer, plus we provide the laundry detergent! Cross country ski from your front door onto the golf course during the winter.
No Smoking!! Yes! We are booked a lot of the time, that is because we offer you true value for your money. We try to make it simple and be honest; we do not raise our rates during the times of the year that you and your family really want to be here. We charge one fair rate year-round.
Example : 7 day stay = $1,695.00 (..A $370.00 savings for you over the daily rate.)
Tax @ 8.8% = $ 149.63
Renter Insurance = $ 49.00
Cleaning Fee = $ 100.00
Total cost of one week stay = $1,993.16
There is an additional fully refundable $300 security deposit required with payment.
Like To Fish For Trophy Trout : TROPHY TROUT FISHING: The PIEDRA RIVER is a canyon river, west of Pagosa Springs, with fat browns and foot-long stocked rainbows swimming in its 40 miles of pocket water and deep pools. The Piedra flows through isolated granite box canyons in some of the wildest country in the West.

The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. Parking is limited to 3 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated concrete parking areas only. Parking on the road is permitted but not recommended in winter because of snow plows. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
8. The fireplace is a non-vented gas fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace
9. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads can be curvy and steep; we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.]
Reviews
We rented this home for a guy's annual ski trip to Wolf Creek ski resort. There were six of us ages early 50's to early 60's. After years of traveling with these ski buddies, I have become the default accommodations coordinator, a role that I take seriously and go above and beyond to make sure I know exactly what we are getting. The place was extremely welcoming from the moment we stepped inside with the thermostat-controlled gas fireplace cranking away. The home is BETTER than pictured and described and there were absolutely NO surprises whatsoever. The place is tastefully decorated, even better than shown in the pictures. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare our home cooked meals ... from pots, pans, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils ... to beer and wine bottle openers! (Don't buy coffee filters! We left you plenty!) I was concerned that the beds in the dorm room over the garage might be cots .. but NO ... they are EXTREMELY comfortable full mattresses with box springs. The temperature in all of the rooms was easy to keep at a perfect temperature. Although there are ski-holders on the wall in the entryway, we opted to leave our gear in the garage each night so that we didn't have to worry about snow melt getting on the floor. Tommy, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, as was his local representative. The payment and key process was easy. We had no problems whatsoever and will absolutely rent this home again.
Stayed here with several buddies on a late Feb ski trip. The house is as described and better. Good location. It is well stocked, clean and comfortable. The owner worked with us on late departure time. He also helped us with suggestions on places to have dinner at. A great place to stay for a family or group of friends.
My family of 8 stayed here last winter. We always rent a home when on a ski vacation and this one met every one of our needs for sleeping, cooking, room, plus it was only 30 minutes away from Wolf Creek Ski area. The 6 & 7 year olds stayed in the loft and both slept and watched movies on the TV up there. The teenagers stayed in the dorm room and I think enjoyed having a little space from their parents. The kitchen had everything that I needed to prepare breakfast before we left for the slopes and dinner after we got back. We only ate out one time in the week that we were staying there. We did not arrive until after dark and all the lights were turned on for us and the cabin was nice and warm. A great way to start our family vacation. We had a great time here. There are, “I think,” a fox, wolf, beaver skin hanging low on the stairs. The Taylors said, that was so the kids can touch and feel them. Mine never went up or down the stairs without doing so. Everything was thought of in this home to take care of us all and our needs. We will stay here anytime we visit Pagosa Springs or ski Wolf Creek
We had a wonderful vacation at this log cabin home. The owner was prompt with all inquiries, the home was clean and well stocked. The furnishings and home goods were top notch. Even had a Kitchenaid. The property was private even though it was in a neighborhood. Lots of room for two families and 2 small children. Nice roomy garage for our SUV and close enough to town for shopping. Enjoyed ice skating rink in town that had a Olympic skater as instructor. Wolf Creek was just a 30 minute drive away. Hot springs in Pagosa was so relaxing that it became my favorite activity.
