Smoking:
No smoking inside. Collect cigarette buds in an appropriate place, not scattered through out the property.
Roof:
Do not attempt to go on the roof. There is no access to the roof. It is not flat and there is no deck. You can see nothing from up there. If you try to, you will damage the roof tiles and you will be held responsible. You will lose your deposit, and you will be held legally liable for any extra costs associated. It is expensive to repair. Violation is grounds for loss of deposit, remaining rental balance, immediate eviction from our property, and any and all attorney and court fees.
Subletting:
There is to be no subletting, no “loaning” the house to friends. If you pay for the house, YOU stay here. The person who made the rental agreement shall be staying at the property for all nights, no exception. Violation is grounds for loss of deposit, remaining rental balance, and immediate eviction from our property.
Moving furniture:
Do not move furniture; you will damage the floor or the furniture. We charge an additional cleaning fee for resetting the furniture and possibly extra charges and loss of deposit for any damage that occurred to the floor, furniture or walls.
Children:
We love children; we just ask that you monitor your children both inside and outside our house. Cost associated with broken windows, broken stained glass, broken items, scratched surfaces, spilled substances, and fingerprinted items can cause serious damage to the house.

My wife, I, her two sisters and our little dog stayed here for a week, visiting our daughter and her husband for Thanksgiving. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. The owners are helpful and personable. The kitchen is large, modern and very well equipped with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, flatware, etc. We cooked and served a full T-day dinner.
Great home, great owners, great stay. This home is so comfortable with plenty of space and character to spare. Our extended family of 5 adults and one child had lots of room. We were close to everything we wanted to see in San Antonio (the Zoo is just a few blocks away). We enjoyed preparing meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Owners were very responsive, pleasant and helpful. We absolutely recommend this property.
This home is in a perfect location to get around San Antonio. We never drove more than 15 minutes to any of the places we wanted to see or dine at. It was just right for the four of us. The owners are very easy to work with.
This property was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). We were very comfortable in the beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishware, etc. We enjoyed the cable TV, the wi-fi, and using the big dining room table to do puzzles. The location was ideal, as we were located in between downtown (River walk) and Brackenridge Park area. We would definitely recommend this property to a family looking to spend some time in San Antonio.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in historic Monte Vista. The owners were pleasant and responsive. The house was clean and comfortable. Beds were all comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We had dinner at Caparillis on one night, shopped at Kathleen Sommers, and picked some juices at Urth. Lunched on the best enchiladas in town at Blanco Cafe and vintage shopped next door to the restaurant. The beautiful historic neighborhood was great for morning walks and jogs. Airport was close by on Hwy 281. We definitely would enjoy staying at this house next time we visit San Antonio!
