Be one of the discerning to discover all that Cranberry Castle and northern Wisconsin has to offer. With 8,500 square feet under air this massive luxurious log and stone cabin is one of the finest in the Northwoods and ready to make memories.
LOCATION:
Located on Cranberry Lake on the famous Eagle River Chain, the largest chain of interconnected lakes in the world. The clean and easily navigable lakes are perfect if you are looking to swim, ski, fish or just take the boat out for dinner. At just under 1,000 acres Cranberry is the second largest and last lake on the Eagle River chain. There are no restaurants on Cranberry Lake so boat traffic on the lake is minimal. Cranberry Castle sits on a level lot with pristine sand frontage on quiet “Musky Bay”. On top of this the house is on a dead end and a ten minute drive from the quaint shops of downtown.
HOUSE FEATURES:
The “Castle” is truly high end with no expense spared. Some features include a whole home ipod ready stereo system, full British Columbian cedar (not pine) log interior and partial exterior with real Door County stone, hickory/oak/cherry hardwood floors, imported tile/travertive, Brazilian rosewood cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The vaulted ceilings and towering lakeside windows provide beautiful views.
KITCHEN FEATURES:
The main chef's kitchen is fully furnished should you choose not to take your boat out to dinner. It features a 48' Viking Professional natural gas stove complete with a grill and griddle, Wolf stainless steel double oven, Wolf warming tray, a large Sub-Zero side by side fridge/freezer, Wolf microwave and Kitchen Aid stainless steel dishwasher. There is also a guest kitchen upstairs complete with a stove/oven/microwave and full fridge/freezer should you need more space.
GREAT ROOM FEATURES:
Sitting at the pub table enjoying a glass of wine is a great place to take in the lake views. Other features include an open floor plan, carved pool table with ample seating, bumper pool table, Yamaha grand piano, beautiful stone fireplace, big screen HDTV and a full size pull out sleeper sofa.
MASTER BEDROOM & BATHROOM HIGHLIGHTS:
The master bedroom sits in the upper south tower with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous lake views. It features a rustic log bed, memory foam queen mattress with high thread count cotton sheets and a wall mounted 32” HDTV. There is a glass enclosed double shower and vanity along with an walk-in closet and jetted tub.
PATIO AND YARD HIGHLIGHTS:
The grand patio offers two full deep seating sets with seating for ten, a full stone outdoor fireplace, built in stainless steel natural gas grill, charcoal Weber and speakers running off the house stereo. Just off the patio on the side of house sits the outdoor spa (operational May-October) with seating for six including a recliner. The large level yard has ample space to set up a volleyball net and throw the football around. The lakeside hammock warrants a competition for who can get there first. The children can build sandcastles on the beach, play in the water, go down the waterslide and swim out to the floating raft. There are also two kayaks provided which are not pictured. The large aluminum dock has a 200 square foot platform with seating for six, great for relaxing and taking in the tranquility of the Northwoods. There are also permanent bumpers on the dock for two boats but it can easily accommodate more watercraft. The lakeside fire pit seats 16 and is great for making s'mores and telling stories. There are six additional recliners provided that can be placed wherever you feel necessary.
UPPER NORTH TOWER BEDROOM & BATH HIGHLIGHTS:
The upper north tower sits opposite the master and is sometimes referred to as the “other master”. Beautiful views, vaulted ceilings, California king bed, a Terry Redlin print and a 32” wall mounted HDTV complete this room. The bathroom features a granite counter top, complete wrap of tile and cedar along with a glass enclosed shower.
THEATER ROOM:
Comfortable seating for ten, an Infinity surround sound system with 300 watt sub woofer, popcorn machine (pre-measured packets provided), HD projector with Direct TV, Blu-Ray/DVD and Roku to watch Netflix with your account make this a perfect place to watch the game or have family movie night.
SUNROOM:
Lake views, rustic décor (including trophy muskie mount), a heated travertine floor and over sized wicker chairs make this an ideal place to enjoy morning coffee. This is the best place to watch the deer run through the yard.

The living room features a cozy sitting area with two Bernhardt plush leather sofas and matching loveseat around the warm stone fireplace. The main solid oak dining table has seating for ten with two beautiful chandeliers overhanging.

Commercial grade game tables including air hockey, foosball and ping pong round out the list of things to do on a rainy day. A hotel grade water system allows all showers to run together without pressure loss. A water treatment system provides bottled water quality right from the tap.

Eagle River is a top vacation destination because there is so much to do! Our favorite thing and what drew us to the area was the 28 interconnected lakes forming the largest chain of lakes in the world. Imagine a full day of cruising the lakes on a pontoon, laughing with family and friends, a well-stocked cooler, listening to oldies, pulling tubes behind for the children, jumping in the water to cool off and stopping at various restaurants along the way. This is truly an up north paradise. Please contact us to have a luxury pontoon or high end jet skis delivered to the dock. With class A rated musky lakes, Eagle River is great for fishing too! My wife loved the quaint shops of downtown. Fall brings crisp air, beautiful colors, and art festivals. This is a great time to hike in the nearby Nicolet National Forest. Winter is absolutely beautiful and Eagle River is the snowmobile capital of the world. With well-groomed and marked trails this is a fitting place for the championship snowmobile derby.
