This updated 2 bedroom 2 bath condo is located at Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, directly off Gulf Drive. Runaway Bay is a lovely vacation resort on beautiful grounds between the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay (north of Sarasota and south of St. Petersburg). This updated 2 bedroom 2 bath condo is located at Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, directly off Gulf Drive. Runaway Bay is a lovely vacation resort on beautiful grounds between the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay (north of Sarasota and south of St. Petersburg). Condo include access to a beautiful, large heated swimming pool (the largest on the island), a tennis and bocce ball court, recreation room, sauna, exercise equipment, shuffleboard and a fishing pier. And of course, a beautiful beach only steps away. Enjoy the convenience of a fully functional kitchen with full table settings and cooking supplies, full sized washer and dryer, and a private parking space reserved directly outside of your unit (guest spots also available). Other items include toaster, coffee maker, ice maker, beach toys and chairs!
This non-smoking unit is over 1100 sq ft with a screened in terrace complete with a quiet, peaceful view of the lagoon that flows through the center of the complex (see the pictures). Conveniently located close to Sarasota Airport (20 minutes) and the Tampa Airport (55 minutes). Also, close to major Florida attractions including; Busch Gardens (45 minutes), Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World (2 hours).
A wide selection of activities, gourmet restaurants and shops are minutes away, along with a free trolley which runs the length of Anna Maria Island. Take a stroll down the beach or Gulf Drive to Historic Bridge Street, which includes miniature golfing, restaurants, pubs, water-view seating for breakfast/coffee/drinks, and local jewelry and clothing shops.

New upgrades completed for 2017!!!! Some of the highlights include King Bed in master; Queen and Twin bed in second room and hardwood floors throughout. Also, new bedding and new couches in the living room (with queen pullout bed). Be the first to take advantage of our continued re-investments!

This property was exactly what we expected based on the description and photos. It was clean, well- maintained, and equipped with all of the essentials for our stay. The owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries and checked on us soon after our arrival. The condo's location and amenities suited us perfectly during our trip to the island. We highly recommend this property to all.
