All the amenities you need are right at your finger tips, from concierge service; shuttle service, personal chef service, excursions and charters, and the resort's private beach with bar and grill are just a short stroll down the lane.
Stay connected at Dos Palapas with US Direct TV and wifi in the main living areas. The gourmet kitchen is spacious and a great place for everyone to gather for formal or informal dining, and the kitchen amenities are perfect for the foodie traveler, including stainless steel appliances and whole house water purification system.
Dos Palapas was designed with trade winds in mind, so you will always have a beautiful breeze. However, if you like to cool down before bed, there is a/c in each room, except the newly constructed main floor bedroom.
The expansive deck with outdoor kitchen gets plenty of use! It's perfect for entertaining by the over-sized sparkling infinity pool, at sunset. The king master suites are spacious with ocean-views and en-suites for privacy, and the brand new main floor suite is spacious and perfect for those that prefer to be close to the home's amenities. The unique 'crow's nest' on the third floor, offers the most dramatic view of the reefs and surrounding manicured lush property.
Perfectly situated in a nature preserve, you'll definitely enjoy the use of the golf carts to leisurely cruise around the sprawling resort property lanes - bird watch, butterfly watch, or look for the illusive owls, iguana, guatusa (or island rabbits, as they are called by locals). One of the best features of Palmetto's resort community, is your own private beach with shaded palapas, beach loungers, large breezy dock, as well as the convenience of having a bar & grill on-site, you can also rent kayaks or paddle-boards.

We are fortunate to have flocks of resident parrots in Palmetto's community and it is always a kick to hear them socially gather in tree tops at dusk to chat away with each other. There are so many reasons we chose this home, the list is endless!
