Do not worry a bit when renting this house! Melissa is an amazing home owner who cares about the details! Never rented a cleaner home. It is way bigger than it looks. We had 6 grown adults stay for a ski vacation. Great location for downtown Wausau or Rib Mountain.We walked the half block to Jenny's Restaurant for breakfast both mornings. Can't go wrong there either! Kitchen was well stocked including some everyday food staples!! Can't say enough good things about this property!
It was a great place to have a wedding and the subsequent long and relaxing stay. The property is very well situated in Wausau and no one from out of town had a difficult time finding the house. Everyone fomented on how nice the property was and how spacious it was. We had 15 people for the ceremony and there was more than enough room. Melissa had cookies and some well thought of basic supplies in the house too. All on all an exquisite experience.
This was the perfect place to stay. Clean and comfortable, very spacious and a perfect place to check out all the area had to offer. We went to the local breweries and hit the slopes at Granite Peak. We cooked some great meals in the well appointed kitchen and walked about a 1/2 block to a nice restaurant one morning when we were in a hurry and didn't have time to cook. Just a really great place. We hope to come back again.
We all arrived tired after a along drive -the home was very easy to find. Melissa meet us at the house and made sure we had everything we needed-she was very easy to work with. The home is large & beautiful and with all the relatives in tow we still had plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed and we did make several meals at the house. A locally owned restaurant is just a short walk from the house -the food was basic but good and the prices were fair. Our dog was also with us and the backyard made it easy for Jess to get out and run around and we didn't have to worry about her or the kids. Clearly Melissa takes a lot of pride in the house. Very clean & comfortable. We will book again the next time we come to Wausau
