If you’re tired of renting cabins that require endless zig zagging and perilous climbs up roads and never ending walkways or porch steps where you think you need a mountain goat to access your cabin then you’ll be delighted by the very easy drive to get to Smoky's Lodge. Well maintained roads lead to the cabin with flat parking for up to 2 large vehicles. If hauling a trailer, you can park that parallel with the road next to the cabin.
From Nov 4th to Jan 17th the Great Smoky Mountain Christmas Elf will have stopped by and decorated the cabin in big red bows, glitter everywhere, garland inside and out along with a country themed Christmas Tree so the big man himself can stop by!! In celebration of Winterfest, the cities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville will be decorated from the first part of Nov until Feb 28th every year. There is also a large light display at the entrance of our neighborhood by the city.
Location, location ~ This cabin is only 2.6 miles off of US-441 Scenic Parkway at Light #3 which is Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge. You will be in the heart of Pigeon Forge along with being down the road from The Island (3.1 miles), Dollywood (6.5 miles), Gatlinburg (11.8 miles), Sevierville (7.5 miles), The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (6.3 miles to their Gatlinburg Headquarters), Cal Ripken Baseball Park (only 3.7 miles and on same street as our neighborhood), Wears Farm Ball Park & Pigeon Forge City Park and Playground (a mile away and almost across the street from our neighborhood) and The University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium (28.3 miles). COMMUNITY POOL ACCESS: Sevierville's Family Aquatic Center which is 6.9 miles ($4/ kids, $5/adults,$2.50/spectators & a punch card can be purchase which make each child $1.52). Pigeon Forge Community Center is also 2.7 miles away. Even the new Alpine Coaster is right across from us. This gorgeous 1,500 sqft all log cabin features a newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops and is fully equipped with everything you would want - pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, ceramic top stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator. Oh, did I mention that there is a Krogers and Publix grocery store across the street from each other less than 2.6 miles down from the cabin so you can do all your shopping right before you arrive.
Feel free to enjoy a romantic dinner while sitting at the dinning room table that is located next to a cozy fireplace or a quick snack at the island in the kitchen. After dinner you can sit back and enjoy the fireplace or the views of Bluff Mountain while drinking a cup of hot cocoa or watching your favorite movie on the flat screen tv in the den.
All TVs have HD programming along with Netflix access on Great Room TV if you have a Netflix account. Also there is FREE On-Demand access to all the movie channels and all other channels we made in our HD Digital Prefered Comcast package. On-Demand access is on the main TV in the Great Room. There are over 220 channels along with The Movie Channel, Streampix, Stars and Showtime plus over 18 different sports channels in our upgraded package.
For the sportsmen in the family there is the game room located on the lower level that also has a fireplace. It is perfect for those who want to entertain or sit back and relax. The game room features a regulation size pool table, two pub style tables with chairs and a comfy leather couch which all have great views of the flat screen so no one will miss their favorite sporting event.
Both back decks are secluded and surrounded by native trees to the Smoky Mountains along with offering privacy for you and your family so to give you the feel of being up in a tree house. On the top deck you can sip your morning coffee while enjoying the views or sit back in the evening to watch the sun set over Bluff Mountain. There is more of a view of Bluff Mountain during the fall & winter months when the trees have lost their leaves. If relaxation is what you are looking for then come down to the lower deck where the hot tub is nestled in the corner so you can enjoy the same great views. The lower deck also offers a cozy country swing with additional seating.
When you decide to retire for the evening both bedrooms have a queen size bed with upgraded Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam mattresses with Sealy Memory Foam pillows, bench, alarm clock, chester drawers, and large closets for the storage of your belongings. There is also a queen leather commercial grade sleeper sofa on each level for additional guests.
This cabin has every amenity you could ask for all the way down to free long distance, internet, and even a washer and dryer so you can stay even longer. Only starter sets of sheets, towels, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided so bring extra if you plan on staying longer than a few days.

If you are looking for fun family water activities that won't break the bank or don't want to pay some high cabin resort fee then we also have you covered. The Pigeon Forge Community Center is only 2.7 miles (less than a 5 minute drive from the cabin ) and the best thing about it...you don't even have to enter the Parkway to get to it. It has a fitness center, bowling alley, swimming pool, basketball courts, and walking track for a small daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly fee. Contact Pigeon Forge Community Center for current rates. There is also a Splash Pad in Sevierville that is $4 for a child and only $2.50 for a Spectator.
For Golf Lovers: Closest course is Gatlinburg Golf Course (is in Pigeon Forge by Dollywood) is only 5.8 miles from the cabin.
For those looking to go Ski: Closet spot to ski will be Ober of Gatlinburg which is located 14.6 miles from the cabin.
For Adventure Seekers wanting to go Rafting: Closet White Water Rafting is: Smoky Mountain Outdoors is located 11.9 miles from cabin.
Your Cleaning Fee covers cleaning of the cabin after you leave with hospital grade cleaning supplies to make sure the entire cabin is fully disinfected for the next guest and your starter supply of toilet paper , paper towels, trash bags, liquid dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, organic hand and body soaps, trash removal, towels, and linens. Also after each checkout the hot tub is drained, scrubbed and cleaned, refilled, and the water is treated for the new guest.
Don't forget to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, personal bath soaps, or anything else you think you might need since only a starter supply is left and should be enough to get you by for a day or two.
Make sure to add the following items to your packing list in case you need these during your stay since we do not stock these in the cabin: beach towels, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, crock pots, blenders, and charcoal for the camp style charcoal grill out front.
Fire pits are NOT allowed anywhere on the property. With the cabin located in a forest that has experience droughts and major forest fires over the years, fire pits are a fire hazard and also NOT allowed by the HOA.
