Our Waterfront Cottage is located on a wide body of water called the NORTH RIVER... however it is not a river at all, but more like a tidal Bay located a very short distance from the open Ocean and protected by barrier Islands. You will find a very secluded home that features a 220 ft. Shoreline with a 160 ft. Pier, Gazebo and a 10x30 ft. Dock at the end of the Pier. Great for Sunning, Fishing, Boating, Kyaking, Windsurfing, Swimming... or just watching the Sun go down while having a nice glass of wine.

The Cottage is bright and airy, immaculately clean and comfortably furnished with a 'beachy' atmosphere. All the rooms have water views! There are 3 Bedrooms each with a Queen size bed, 2 full Baths and an open floor plan with Kitchen, Dining and Living room all together. One of the most enjoyable feature is a spacious Sun room for waterfront Breakfasts... or just lounging while watching the water fowl and occasionally Dolphins, playing in the water.
Breakfast on the Sun Porch is really something very special!
The Village of Beaufort, NC was voted 'America's Coolest Small Town' in 2012... and indeed it still is! Check this out: http://www.beauforthistoricsite.org/

Why This Property?
We've been coming here every chance we had for 30 years and absolutely fell in love with this area. Beaufort is a special small coastal town that it is being featured in many Magazines as one of the 'Coolest small towns in America'.

There are several very fine Restaurants, Gift shops and Museums. Blackbeard the Pirate's home is also located here as well as the shipwreck of his famous Pirate Ship 'Queen Anne's Revenge'. Lots to do... you can watch wild Horses graze on the barrier islands... take scenic drives on the Crystal Coast with its unspoiled white sand beaches... visit Down East, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Harkers Island or drive an incredibly scenic 30 miles to Cedar Island for Horseback riding in the Surf... or take a restful 2 hour Ferry crossing to Ocracoke, and the Outer Banks.

We are reluctant to give the accolades due this fantastic place since other people might discover it. Such serenity, privacy, fantastic water views and a house equipped with everything one would ever need to enjoy a great vacation. Very close to shopping areas and nearby attractions but when returning peace and quiet awaits. The owner is very people oriented and a great person who wants to make your stay trouble free. We look forward to returning to "Bountiful" very soon and the week went by way too fast. Gary & Jeannie with Russ and Debbie
