Located directly on a sandy beach, the property is lushly landscaped and includes a large pool overlooking the sea and surrounded by both shady and sunny areas for lounging. Located directly on a sandy beach, the property is lushly landscaped and includes a large pool overlooking the sea and surrounded by both shady and sunny areas for lounging. There is a covered picnic area with dining table and chairs, and a gas grill.
Located on the second floor, Mango Sunset is a spacious, 1200SF, unit with 1BR/1BA, living room, kitchen, and a large screened gallery with a delightful view of the beach and clear blue waters. The bedroom has two queen beds, ample closet space, and A/C. The large bathroom has a double-sink vanity and a walk-in shower. In the living room is a full sleeper sofa, lots of plush, comfy furniture, and cable TV. There is WiFi throughout. A well-equipped kitchen, with ample dishes for meals and entertaining, offers a pass-through to a bar with seating in the gallery. There are also dining table/chairs, and chaise lounges, in the gallery.
All rooms have ceiling fans, and due to the front to back layout of the rooms, the breezes are fantastic.
Included with this rental are all bed linens and household towels, beach towels and folding beach chairs. A clothes washer and dryer are in a private storage room on the lower level of the building.
The charming town of Frederiksted, with its old Danish architecture, is a mile away and offers restaurants, shopping, and access to recreational activities, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, diving, boat trips, island tours by jeep, horseback, bicycle, to name a few. There is a small hotel with an excellent restaurant just a short walk down the beach from Mango Sunset. Whether you desire a full day of activities, or just a quiet day by the pool, you will want to be at Mango Sunset at dusk, to witness our amazing sunsets, and maybe even a green flash!

Diane has been in the real estate industry for more than 30 years and has a background as a building contractor, a journeyman electrician and is the owner of a real estate development company, Bsquared USVI. As a Frederiksted resident, Diane has been active in the rebuilding efforts there. She currently manages West End properties in addition to selling real estate and is recognized on the island as a major advocate of West End development. Diane's love of St. Croix began more than 25 years ago when she first came to the island on a real estate business trip. As a result of that trip, she began making semi-annual trips to St. Croix, and finally in 2002 she decided to make St. Croix her permanent home. When she is not working, she can be found on any one of the many beautiful golf courses on the island. Her commitment to the island is clear from her many volunteer activities. She is a fierce advocate of home ownership on St. Croix and works tirelessly to advocate for social and economic development for St. Croix, the biggest and the best of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Location, location, location.....and a very nice condo, too!

Mango Sunset was such a wonderful vacation spot! Great condo and perfect location. As far as the location, the beach is just a few steps away, with swimming and snorkeling right in front. The beach stretches for miles and is great for morning or afternoon walks. There is a pool as well which was always clean and well maintained. Frederiksted is just minutes away by car and it has a variety of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved the huge pier for snorkeling and scuba diving. There is a great dive shop in town as well--everyone was very friendly. We would recommend a car for your stay although the condo is within fairly easy walking distance of Sand Castles, a small hotel with good lunch and dinner dining and beach amenities There are lots of beaches close by if you like variety. We really enjoyed Rhythms at Rainbow Beach, which had live music the day we were there. As far as the condo, it was extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The view was absolutely incredible from the gallery--it is screened but you can also open the screens during the day. Great cross breezes. We were there in November and did not need to use the air conditioning. As far as conveniences, the condo had internet, two TVs, a dishwasher and laundry room, along with easy parking. We went as a family and had plenty of room but it would be great for a couple as well. We hope to return to St. Croix and Mango Sunset!
