As you enter the main level you will find a kitchen, largely scaled great room and a charming interior courtyard with a fountain and a 1/2 bath. The next level, or the Patio level is perhaps the focal point of the Casa with a 1,400 sq. feet (130 m2) patio including a large covered area with seating for 10, a dipping pool with both a swim up bar and an outside bar, a water sunning ledge, a second fully equipped kitchen with a BBQ and 2 bedrooms. This kitchen is for the sole use of the guests.
The 2 en-suite bedrooms on this level are the Saints’ Room and the Garden Room. The top level of the house has another two en-suite bedrooms, the Jaguar Room and Malia Room (presently occupied by owner and pets).

Also, the owner is a pet rescuer, people with allergies to cats have done fine up to now as the cats are not allowed in guests bedrooms and everything is outdoors
However, if you do not enjoy the company of pets, Casa Malia is probably not your best fit

All of my pets are rescues. Sometimes there might be another pet that I will be fostering until it finds its permanent home.
I am pretty involved in various associations that rescue pets throughout the area (Puro Gato, Angelicat, LADRA, Peace Animals, Mexpup, Acopio). Casa Malia is a pet friendly home, any pet, provided it is well behaved, is welcomed here at no extra fee (but a deposit will be asked of you that will be given back upon your departure if your pet has caused no damages). If you are seeking to adopt you have found the perfect place to help you in your search (please do not buy pets, it makes puppy mills develop even more and stops a pet from getting saved and loved).
My other passion apart from animals is nature. So if you like hiking or going on day trips to discover villages/remote places, I am the right place to go to
We can plan a day trip, the only thing I ask is for you to pay for the gas expenses, it also depends on my availability
If you are more into clubbing or cheap booze, I won't be able to help you there!

I visited several properties before picking this one. It seemed perfect for my needs to create an intimate guesthouse. Offering a magnificent view over the Sierras Madre mountains and part of Puerto Vallarta. As a European the charm of the neighborhood was unbeatable. I visited several properties before picking this one. It seemed perfect for my needs to create an intimate guesthouse. I love the fact that during my walks I will salute most people and chat with some. It is a life that has a human dimension. I was burnt out on big cities after having lived 15 years in Paris.
