Unique Benefits

We love Tanglewood because it is a quiet neighborhood. Many guests have commented that it is nice to come back to the peaceful setting and get away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. We love relaxing on the screened in lanai, listening to the sound of fountain. We also enjoy riding our bikes through the resort on the 5 miles of sidewalks or to the beach!

I have stayed in a large number of rental units over the past years and my criteria for a good one is that it be as shown in the description and photos and that the owners be available and responsive to any questions. This townhouse met all of these requirements. The owners Linda and Tim were the perfect hosts and were instantly available either by phone or email whenever we had any questions. They kept in touch through our whole visit to ensure we were happy. The house is in a great location in Barefoot in a quiet area within a 5 minute drive to the beach. It has a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs and bikes so was perfect for our 5 week visit. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the Myrtle Beach area.

Welcome to the perfect beach or golf vacation. This will be your home away from home. We love sharing our 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, 2 story townhouse located in Tanglewood at Barefoot Resort and Golf. The unit features one king, 4 twin beds and a futon in the loft. Our unit is located in a quiet area of Barefoot and has a private driveway with a one car garage to enter the home. It is great for unloading and storing your golf clubs. No steps to worry about here!

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make home cooked meals. A half bathroom and full size laundry is also located on the first floor.

The master bedroom on the first floor has its own bathroom with a double sink and shower. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds with its own bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a third bathroom in the hallway. All 3 bedrooms have flat screen TV's and ceiling fans. Fresh linens, towels and paper products are provided.

Enjoy the view of the pond and listening to the sound of fountain in the serene setting of Tanglewood. Enjoy the ducks but please don't feed them it is against our HOA rules.

You will also enjoy walking or biking the 5 mile loop through the beautifully landscaped resort, in a safe, family environment. We have two bikes for your use.

Barefoot Resort has two pools for your use, one in Tanglewood, and South Carolina's largest pool located between the North Tower Condominiums and the Yacht Club on the Intracoastal Waterway. Barefoot has a full service marina with boat and jet ski rentals. Also near the pool is the Jasmine Spa and at the marina, is the Barefoot Boathouse which has indoor and outdoor seating with great seating to view the marina and the Barefoot Landing fireworks. In front of the restaurant, you can play beach volleyball and corn-hole.

If you enjoy the beach, it is only 1.5 mile drive to Windy Hill Beach or you can drive along Ocean Blvd. and park in any of the free, public parking lots. The beach is also accessible by the free shuttle to the public access area at 46th Street & South Ocean Blvd. The shuttle stop runs daily Memorial Day to Labor Day. It also runs weekends in April, May, September and October. No need to worry about finding parking at the beach and no sand in your car when you take the shuttle!

If you are a golfer, you have come to the right place. With nearly 100 courses in a short radius, you have a variety of choices for all price ranges and levels of play. The location is perfect for courses in Brunswick County NC, and the southern courses in Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet.
