- Cancellation made 3 days or less prior to scheduled arrival: No refund unless we fill your reservation with another guest

About Vincent Guthrie
Nadine and I enjoy sharing our two cabins with others who appreciate what the Pikes Peak area and our cabins have to offer.
Why This Property?
The rustic charm that the little Mariposa cabin provides enticed us to purchase the cabin in 1999. The cabin provides us an escape to the mountains and the picturesque town of Green Mountain Falls. Before the area's cabins had addresses they were given names. The Mariposa (butterfly and a flower) has retained its name, since its beginnings as a vacation getaway in the 1930s.
Unique Benefits
The Mariposa is close to all the Pikes Peak area attractions.

Honeymoon in the Mountains

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mariposa Cabin. We stayed for a total of 4 days. We were looking for a quiet, cozy place to rest after a day of adventuring. That is exactly what we got. We especially enjoyed grilling out in the evenings and watching the sunrise with the birds feeding right by the bedroom window. The owners were very easy to contact when checking in and out. This cabin was the perfect location for all the outdoor sightseeing we had planned. The cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains. We would highly recommend this cabin for those looking for a special little mountain getaway.
