We have one daughter (age 14) who is an avid rock climber. She loves to climb the the big 500 ft walls in nearby Linville Gorge as well as compete in sport climbing events across the nation. We visit Hawks View often and are continually making improvements and additions.
We are NEW to Airbnb but not new to renting Hawks View which we have been doing since 2009 on several other online rental sites by owner. We have over 175 five stars ratings on these sites. Here are just a few of our guest's recent comments.
"Brilliant Retreat"
The views from the cabin are spectacular and the warm, creative vibe inside the Hawks View made me feel both at home and inspired. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen, a great movie selection, and books and games galore. In addition I had a super comfy bed, luscious bath towels, beautiful art, and a sweet wood stove made the stay perfect. Simply put I was not left wanting anything during my stay. I would recommend Hawks View to anyone looking for a getaway in the the mountains of North Carolina.
"Just book it!"
This place is fantastic. We have very high standards and this place was exactly what we were looking for. The view is unreal. I could sit on the porch and read all weekend. The cabin is rustic and modern at the same time. It is very well equipped with anything you could ever need. There is a really nice grocery store about 7 miles away so you can pick up all your supplies once you get there. It's very secluded and private.
