The condo is smoke free. A 46' flat screen with cable is located in the living room and a 36' in the bedroom. The motif is Hawaiian/Polynesian. The bath area is all tile, with beautiful furnishings, and a large walk-in shower. All of the towels, linens, and small appliance are NEW as of March 2014. The condo's are quiet, the property is well maintained and has security for your convenience. The salt water pool area is quiet, as well. Grilling by the pool is a nice feature. There are trails to hike. The beach is within walking distance, but is 3/4's of a mile away.

About the owner: We are not native Hawaiian, but we LOVE coming to Hawaii and have done so for 25 years. Brenda and I live in Oklahoma City (Go Sooners! AND Thunder Up!). We have been married for 47 years in September. We are blessed with 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. Interestingly, we met in college. I managed to earn 3 degrees in my life, a BA, Masters, and Ph.D. in Leadership. That one

That one came late in life and I would recommend doing it and NOT let age be a deterrent. :) I am an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention and recently retired from one of the SBC entities. Brenda taught school for many years when our children were younger. Most recently she has gone back to work at the same school where she taught and is the receptionist. We would love for you to enjoy our home and enjoy that 'dream vacation', honeymoon excursion, first trip or multiple trip to Oahu.

We have been coming to Oahu and Makaha since 1990. We really do not get away much other than coming here. There is much to see if this is your first visit to the island. We have been coming to Oahu and Makaha since 1990. We really do not get away much other than coming here. There is much to see if this is your first visit to the island. However, if this is not your first time you could not pick a better place to just relax, enjoy the sun, and read a good book. We have talked about buying a condo for several years and 2014 became the year of reality. We are looking forward to being here for many more years. We have furnished it the way we want it to be and NOT look like just a typical 'vacation rental'. You will find pictures of our family and other personalized things. The furnishings are NEW and of high quality. Makaha will make you want to own your own, I can promise. I can also promise you will not be disappointed with your choice of rental when you rent from The Hand's.
