Dos Palmas features an island bar with four stools. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and double sinks. Each room has its own large closet and sitting area. The common space has plenty of seating for everyone with an island bar, a large leather sofa, and dining table with four chairs. This villa is perfect for families or traveling couples.

You will have access to shared pool, deck, lounge chairs, hammocks, BBQ, 24/7 concierge, parking, washer and dryer on property, local phone, free North America phone calls and Suzie (our very friendly dog)
Interaction with Guests
We live on the on the property as your private concierge to help you with recommendations on restaurants, tours, live music, shopping etc. or anything you might need in room ie; towels, a glass of wine!!!
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is (we think) in the perfect location. Half way between the town of Quepos and the National Park. Tucked in the jungle just 350 meters from main road, in a quiet neighborhood, but just 2 minutes from everything.
LOOK WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT IN OUR BACK YARD! You can hike to this waterfall just 30 minutes behind our property! Watch this awesome video shot by a group of our guests enjoying themselves!
Getting Around
We are 350 meters from the main road where the buses run all day long, approximately every 15 minutes, for about 60 cents. Also taxis are readily available for aprox. $4.00 to the town of Quepos or $6.00 to the main beach.
The national motto in Costa Rica, "Pura Vida" sums up the culture and atmosphere you will experience during your stay in Manuel Antonio. The literal translation for Pura Vida is Pure Life. But everyone in Costa Rica uses it as a greeting or a way of saying good bye, etc. People say that the surfers brought that phrase here in the sixties and it was said to express the love of the simple and pure lifestyle. You will hear it a lot once you get here. Relax and enjoy your vacation where people choose to live the simple life.

DO NOT MISS AN OPPORUTNITY TO STAY HERE!!! Our family of four (one teen and one tween) stayed in Dos Palmas for a week, our Spring Break. We traveled to Costa Rica to see ten sloths and as many monkeys as possible. Prior to our trip Paula was thoughtful and attentive to our planning! Through Paula, we were able to book excursions, find out of the way places, enjoy ‘local’ favorites and she answered all of questions lickety-split!! Usually, we travel from spot to spot, hotel and hostel hopping. Not this trip, we stayed, went on our excursions, came back, relaxed and had all of our needs taken care of. We had everything we needed for the week – including daily visits by scarlet macaw, all three types of CR monkeys, and lizards. You didn’t need to ‘venture’ far for wildlife. Plus, it was great to come back and dip in the pool and lounge on the patio. She even let us use the laundry facilities, lent us movies and a cooler for the beach. Truly, one of the best parts of the trip was meeting Paula, Clark, Paula’s brother Brad and the cast of characters from her neck of the Saskatchewan. We enjoyed evening chats, games and beers. Thanks to Clark and Paula and their staff for creating a beautiful time and lots of fond memories in Costa Rica!
Our family of five had a fabulous stay in the Dos Palmas suite. The room was very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The location of this property is very convenient to the national park, public beach, restaurants and grocery stores. We really enjoyed the common area of the property - the pool was the perfect place to cool down after a hot day, monkeys visit every morning and we very much enjoyed spending time meeting the other families staying on the property. Paula was a wonderful host - she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She booked some great tours for us which made our stay even more enjoyable. We all agreed that this was our favourite place on our trip and we were sad to leave! We would highly recommend this property and would definitely book again next time we visit the area.
We stayed in the Dos Palmas apartment and had an absolutely fabulous time. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Paula was wonderful and arranged some really great tours for us, and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The monkeys came through every morning and weer very entertaining! Would definitly stay here again
We stayed at Jungle Creek for the tail end of our Costa Rican adventure. From the moment I contacted Paula about reservations, she could not have been more lovely. She asked if I had any questions about traveling in Costa Rica, and was incredibly helpful in giving me logistical advice--not just about Manuel Antonio, but also about our travel to other areas of the country. Our time at Jungle Creek was like being at home--we had every amenity in our room (including a gift basket with snacks and coffee), the unit was spacious, clean and well-stocked. Our daughter turned 15 while we were there, and Paula made reservations for us at a highly rated restaurant and told them that it was her birthday, so they brought her a birthday hat and special dessert. We saw Paula and Carl every day (they live on the upper unit) and we genuinely felt like they cared about our trip and treated us like friends. Oh, and they have two dogs--Susie and Goldie--who are very friendly and love to welcome the guests! Thank you for a great experience--we are so very glad we chose to stay at Jungle Creek!
We had such an excellent time at Jungle Creek. Paula and Clark were wonderful and friendly hosts with great tips for travelers, even making contact with tour operators for us from afar and unerring recommendations on best eats in the area. We really enjoyed dips in the pool, watching the monkeys in the trees the whole time. Listening to the birds in the early morning was a treat as well. Easy proximity to local beaches if you have a car, but cabs are available also. While there are several well-appointed units on this property, contact with other guests was always by choice, and privacy was abundant when wanted. I highly recommend Jungle Creek when in the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area!
