About Douglas
Retired since 2012, I now volunteer in church ministries. When not in Utica, I spend my time with family in the northern suburbs or visiting friends around the country.
Why This Property?
This was purchased to host family weekends, chosen for its comfortable accommodation of 11 adults, ease of travel to by car from Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, and St. Louis, and proximity to Illinois's best state parks: Starved Rock & the lesser known Matthiessen.
Unique Benefits
It's a relaxed, comfortable, welcoming escape from city & suburban life into nature and, especially on weekdays, tranquil solitude. Yet there is much to do nearby for those looking to experience & explore.
