About the Property
Alemaigne Haus Cabin is a family built home and is located in the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres only a couple of blocks behind the Helen Water Park, and Innsbruck Golf Resort. You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard.

Alemaigne Haus Cabin is a family built home and is located in the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres only a couple of blocks behind the Helen Water Park, and Innsbruck Golf Resort. You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard.
The Alemaigne Haus features two large bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both have 26 inch LCD flat screen TV's, and a private full bath in each. The living room has a 55 inch LCD flat screen TV for your enjoyment and free WIFI service. Comfortable reclining sofa in living room.
There's also a sitting room with a 32' flat screen LED TV with a PlayStation 2 for the kids to enjoy.
Have your morning cup of coffee at the breakfast island in the beautiful fully equipped kitchen. There's also a large full bath with a double vanity and a separate laundry room on the main level.
If you want the feeling of seclusion, but want to be close to all of Helen's activities, then this is the place for you.
The Alemaigne Haus is within walking distance to town and has paved road access. There's one slightly steep hill on the road leading to the cabin; however, the remainder of the walk is totally flat. Most of our guests have no problem walking to town, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or if you prefer, you can drive less than a mile to downtown within three minutes.
Stay at our cabin and you'll be glad you did. We hope that you will come again and again!
Privately Owned: This cabin is privately owned and managed. As owners, we want every guest to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy their stay. We personally greet our guests at the front door upon arrival to show you around the cabin and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions. We also provide maps, a travel guide, flyers of local attractions, and local restaurant menus for your convenience. We are never too far away if needed. Helen Water Park: The Helen Water Park is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. It's located only a couple of blocks from the cabin. For $15.00 you can purchase an all day pass to the park which also includes all day river tubing down the Chattahoochee.

My husband and I are both from Georgia and love the Northeast Georgia Mountains. We moved to the area about two years ago to be near our cabin rental in Helen, and this year, we decided to purchase this additional property in Helen for others to enjoy.

We have always loved the city of Helen because we really like the touch of Bavaria in this re-created alpine village with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers which is full of activities throughout the year.

We love sitting on the deck as we listen to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. And, the view from the Sunroom is absolutely beautiful! The cabin is located in the city limits and is within walking distance to town, yet you have the feeling of total seclusion.

The cabin is just beautiful. The most relaxing place we have stayed in a long time. The owners are taking very good care of every single detail. Coming back is a most during Summer time. Thank you!!

Alemaigne Haus Cabin is beautiful. I walked down to the little creek behind the cabin and found a great spot for meditation beside the babbling water. Everything that we needed was available for us. The cabin was clean and we felt very much at home. Gary met us there upon our arrival and showed us around and answered our questions about things to do around the area. It is very close to downtown and easy to find everything, but away from the noise and traffic. Terry was always helpful before our arrival making sure that our reservations were made . They were very accommodating.. I could have just moved in. We will surely stay there again when we go back. Thanks, Gary and Terry , for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was nicely decorated and very clean and everything was available that we needed. It was peaceful and quiet and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck mornings and nights listening to the creek running. Very relaxing. We loved that it was so convenient to downtown Helen so we didn't have far to drive to all the festivities. Terry and Gary were waiting on us when we arrived to welcome us and answer any questions we had. They had pamphlets available with all the different activities, shops, and restaurants for us to look over and get an idea of where the locations were and what they had to offer. They did an awesome job in making this one a "home away from home".

We had the best stay at the cabin. The cabin was very clean, well maintained and had all the amenities you would expect, and more. Location is great, close to the town, but yet you feel secluded. Thanks Terry and Gary for providing such a wonderful cabin. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

My three quilting friends and I go to Helen annually for a winter "sew-in" and have found our perfect accommodation. The owners, Terry and Gary, are wonderful to work with and very prompt in handling all details of our reservation...thanks for returning our deposit within 4 days. The cabin is spacious, comfortable, VERY clean and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail...coffee, creamer, sugar, hot apple cider, condiments, firewood for the fireplace and all of the bare necessities made our stay feel like being home away from home. Terry and Gary, we loved it and we will be back for our 2018 sew-in!
