Edge of the Sand comfortably sleeps up to 10 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Prop up your feet and gaze at the sea in the comfortable Adirondack chairs or enjoy your morning coffee from our Keurig K-cup brewing system while watching the sun rise. Relax on the lower deck when you need a break from the sun.
The first level features a den furnished with two sofas providing plenty of sitting room. A 50 inch flat screen TV equipped with a blue ray DVD player capable of streaming movies through your Netflix or other online account and an Xbox 360 are provided to keep you entertained when you are not enjoying the beautiful beach. A game table and several board games add additional entertainment options. Four people can sleep in the den utilizing the queen sleeper sofa and the full size Murphy bed.
A huge master suite with a king sized bed, flat screen TV, Blue Ray DVD player and large private bath with shower and granite counter top is also located on the first level along with a laundry room containing a washer and dryer

The second level features an open concept great room with comfortable, well-appointed furnishings. You can relax on the love seat or full size dual recliner couch and enjoy the flat screen TV equipped with a DVD player. A DVR is an additional feature that will allow you to enjoy your vacation and not have to miss any of your favorite shows or sporting events. Two sliding doors bring the beautiful North Carolina sun right inside and give you views of the glittering sea. The dining/kitchen is well stocked for cooking and serving up quick or elaborate meals with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools plus a table with seating for six.
Two bedrooms containing queen sized beds are located on the second level. A full bath with modern tile shower and granite vanity is located across the hall from the two bedrooms.
When you are ready to enjoy the beach, a beach access is conveniently located directly across the street. There is an enclosed outside shower with both hot and cold water for you to rinse off the sand as you return from the beach. Cable TV and high speed wireless internet are provided for the time you spend indoors. There is key-less entry to avoid the hassle of “checking in” or getting “locked out”.
Surf City, NC is a nice, quiet family beach town located on Topsail Island. You will find sandy beaches, various water activities, a pier, fishing, boat access, fish markets, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, surf shops, gift shops, etc. You can rent boats, wave runners, paddle boards, surfboards, bicycles, kayaks and any other beach equipment you may need at several locations on the island. The paved shoulder pathway and sidewalk on the main road makes jogging or biking safer and more enjoyable. If fishing interests you, you can surf fish or go out with a local fishing charter.
Edge of the Sand is located in the low-traffic area of Topsail Island where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of being away from it all yet are still just minutes from shopping, dining and other activities. Why This Property?
We live in NC and have fallen in love with Topsail Island. We have two college students and wanted a place we could continue to spend time together and enjoy as our children grow older and have families of their own. We have two college students and wanted a place we could continue to spend time together and enjoy as our children grow older and have families of their own. We like to vacation in places that are laid back but still have lots to do and offer a comfortable place to relax. When we rent we look for beautiful views, updated decor, well stocked, clean and comfortable accommodations and we want to offer the same to our guests. This is our vacation home at the beach and we will be visiting it often to make sure it is always up to our standards and yours. We have private cleaning to help ensure we make your stay the best. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

Edge of Sand is a beautifully decorated beach house conveniently located near Surf City's local sights and delicious restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay on uncrowded beaches. This place has everything you need to enjoy and rejuvenate while on vacation. The second story deck is the perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee. The high end finishes and the first story porch swing are definitely a plus!
