At the time of booking, a credit card advance payment will be required equivalent to fifteen percent (15%) of the total due. An optional travel insurance, which protects you from unexpected events such as hurricanes, is available for a fee of 6.95% of the reservation total, and if taken is also due at the time of booking. Reservations for condominiums made less than 30 days prior to arrival require payment in full immediately. All advance payments will be held in an interest bearing account with all interest going to the management company.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation before final payment (30 days prior to arrival) will result in a loss equal to 10% of the total rent plus $99 cancellation fee that we use to offset our credit card processing cost if travel insurance was not purchased. Cancellation before final payment (30 days prior to arrival) will result in a loss equal to 10% of the total rent plus $99 cancellation fee that we use to offset our credit card processing cost if travel insurance was not purchased. (NOTE: Guest covered under Red Sky rental vacation insurance are exempt from the 10% of the rent and $99 cancellation fee if the reason for cancellation is a covered reason under the travel insurance.). Cancellation after final payment will result in a 100% loss of the total cost of the stay. The 100% cancellation loss can be avoided if: (1) Red Sky rental vacation insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is a reason covered under the travel insurance; or (2) Brooks and Shorey Resorts can re-rent the unit for the full term of the original rental period, in which case the guest will be charged 10% of the total paid as rebooking fee. Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.
