Perfect house for a golf trip

This was our 3rd year renting from Monica for a guy’s golf trip. The house is amazing with tremendous views of the golf course. Prior to renting this house we would rent and eat out every night, now we look forward to eating in and hanging out at the beautiful house. Monica is very accommodating and quick to respond with last minute requests. We can't wait until next year.

My wife and I rent alot of beach houses and this specific property was one of the best ones we have rented. Plenty of space, great amenities and very close to the ocean. Very well maintained, clean, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything for cooking, and also the house had a great view in the rear. If you have a large group of people this is definitely the place for you, plenty of parking and things to do in the community. The property owner is awesome. Quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We plan on coming back for sure!

Everything about this property was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 children (7 years to 18 months). The kitchen was stocked with everything (and more!) than what we needed - from "sippy cups" to coffee makers. The house was SO CLEAN - right down to the stove - which usually doesn't happen with a rental. The location on the golf course was perfect for us - we played the course 3 times during the stay. I was concerned about not being on the beach, but it really is a short car ride, but with all of the bikes, we were able to go to one of the many pools very easily. The community had so much to offer - kayaking, paddle boarding, crabbing, - that it was hard to find time to do everything. Having Harris Teeter so close was wonderful !!! I can't count all the times we would have to go there for something we "forgot". Monica was an absolute joy to work with - quickly responded to any questions I had during the whole process and did everything possible to make this one of our most enjoyable vacations.

This lovely home is exceptionally well appointed and sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac perfect for kids and family alike. A popular destination for golfers, it offers numerous outside balconies and decks to further enjoy the amazing scenery. This special property features an abundance of upgrades including a coffered ceiling with weathered oak in the great room, Thermador professional gas cooktop, gas fireplace, 6 TVs, travertine tile throughout the second floor, hardwood floors in all 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms, tray ceiling with knotty pine in the master bedroom, a knotty pine vaulted ceiling in the front bedroom, custom wood blinds and plantation shutters, a large gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, island with seating for 5, SS appliances, two tankless hot water systems and a large dining area complete with custom farmhouse dining table. Ultra comfortable beds, extra pillows and blankets for that just-like-home sleep experience. Furnished with quality pieces from Restoration Hardware, Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn, Ballard Design and many other high end brands. Reclaimed, recycled and organics used wherever possible. In addition, for those who want to experience the comfort of home without the hassle, a linen and towel service is included in the rates for a complete turnkey experience. This is also a smart house so no keys are necessary.

The house is 3 levels and includes a 2 car garage on the first level along with a mudroom and large rec room with 65 in smart TV, full bath and two nice size bedrooms. One has a king bed (bike room) the other three twins (surf room). There is also a patio area off of the rec room with access to the outside yard.

On the second floor you will find the main living area. This floor is complete with 10 ft ceilings and done in travertine tile including a large Great Room with a coffered wood ceiling and fireplace, gourmet kitchen and large dining area with a custom farmhouse table which seats 12. There is also a powder room, full size washer and dryer on this floor as well as two additional bedrooms with weathered oak hardwood floors. One has a king side bed and the other a queen size bed. There is an additional bathroom down the hall from these bedrooms and both rooms have patio door access to the large front balcony. In addition, there is a large deck area off the great room perfect for dining outdoors. A large professional size gas grill is available and is perfect for BBQs.

On the third level you will find 9 ft ceilings along with an enormous master suite with handscraped hickory hardwood floors, a beautiful knotty pine tray ceiling, separate sitting area and large 3rd floor deck with gorgeous views of the golf course and distant views of the bay. A great place to relax with a glass of wine and take in the sounds and sights of this tranquil retreat. Completing the master suite is a large luxury master bath complete with shower, double vanity, soaking tub and separate toilet room.

There are two other large bedrooms on the third floor both with handscraped hickory hardwood floors. One with a king bed and beautiful views of the golf course and distant views of the bay and the other with 3 twin beds and a vaulted knotty pine wood ceiling. There is also a large hall bath with a shower and double vanity.

All king bedrooms have wall mounted TVs as well as the great room and rec room on the first floor.

For those with children there are two Peg Perego strollers, a single and a double, 2 pack n plays, baby gate, bed rail and a high chair for use during your stay. Some beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs also available. As an added bonus there are approximately a dozen bikes and helmets to use as well.

Bayside is an up and coming resort community with 3 outdoor pools, hot tub, playground, fitness center, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding from the Point. There are basketball, volleyball, pickle ball and tennis courts and a new Olympic size indoor pool and fitness center. In addition, the community is built around a beautiful Jack Nicklaus golf course as well for those who love golf. There is also the outdoor Freeman Stage for summer concerts and entertainment as well as a mass of local restaurants, water parks, miniature golf and shops within a short drive.

Award winning beaches and Delaware State Park is only 4 miles away and there is shuttle service from the community pools every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Whether your passion is golf, exercise, the outdoors, nature, fishing, watersports, biking, or music there is always something to do for everyone, young and old alike.
