Why This Property?

We immediately fell in love with this property as soon as we stepped foot on it. It is absolutely beautiful with a feel of isolation in nature. However, Weatherford is only 15 minutes from the property and Granbury is 20 minutes away. Enjoy the vacation of a lifetime at the River's Edge Retreat on the beautiful shores of the Brazos River. This vacation home features spacious guest accommodations and an outstanding riverfront experience with a top of the line outdoor entertainment area. The outdoor entertainment area features a fire pit, complete outdoor kitchen with a commercial beverage center, bathroom, shower, hot tub, ping pong, and regulation size horse shoe and washer pits. There is also an audio system with an iPod docking station and built-in TV. Propane heaters will be provided in the winter, upon request.
There is an amazing sand beach at the waters edge, where kids can swim or play all day. The large wooded (2+ acre) lot provides plenty of shade to sit and watch the boats go by. Or drive your boat up on the sandy shore after enjoying a full day of glass smooth water.
The 2006 manufactured home features 5 spacious bedrooms, sleeping up to 14 people maximum. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room features a new 55" 4K TV with DirecTV. The master bedroom and outdoor cabana also have a TV. The fireplace room and two other guest bedrooms also have flat screen televisions. The office/playroom has a flat screen and Wii gaming system. High speed internet is available for those who have to send a last minute email to the work they left behind.
The wrap-around multi-level deck offers many opportunities to dine, socialize, or watch wildlife.
The bedrooms consist of a master bedroom, en suite, with a queen size bed. There are two other bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. There is a "twin room" with 4 twin beds, one of them is a Murphy bed that can be raised for additional space when not in use. Two of the twin beds can be pushed together to create a king sized bed. The adaptor is in the closet. The office/playroom has a twin daybed with trundle.
The views at River's Edge are breathtaking, whether it is stargazing at night or watching the sun come up with a cup of warm coffee off of the back deck of the home. This is the ultimate retreat where you can unwind and let go of life's worries.
