Situated at the foot of the valley, between "Lion" and "Bamboo" Mountains, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There are stunning views of the forested mountain slopes, and Kestrel Valley (formally known as Domaine du Chasseur).
The local coast and fishing village of Anse Jonchee, are a leisurely stroll from our doorstep.
The coast line in the immediate area is naturally rugged and undeveloped. Deserted sandy coves are interspersed along the sea shore.
We are located close to Kestrel Valley (formerly The Domaine du Chasseur) which allows nature-lovers to wander its 30km of nature trails through the 1000 hectares of natural landscape. The trails run through beautiful forests of indigenous trees and spice plants.
You might spot the Java deer, which is reared here. Wild boars, monkeys, hares and many local bird species also inhabit this reserve.
Choose to walk the trails, test your fitness on a mountain bike to explore the pathways and waterfalls and enjoy stunning views of the mountainside, valleys and blue lagoons and beyond the reef to scattered tiny islands and the vast Indian Ocean.
There are several tourist attractions close to home, that are a stroll away, or can be visited by bike, local bus, taxi or hired car.
