Additionally, early departures require advance notice in writing 30-days prior to departure and are subject to a penalty equal to one month’s rent at the highest published rate.
To protect your vacation investment, and to avoid the loss of deposits paid in the event of cancellation within the guidelines outlined by CSA Insurance, Hodnett Cooper strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Interruption Insurance.
Reservation Surcharge: A surcharge is applied to every reservation, which includes housekeeping charges, an administration fee, and a damage waiver. Each residence will be cleaned before arrival and upon departure. Additional cleaning can be scheduled for an extra charge. The damage waiver fee covers unintentional damages of up to $3000 per stay. Unintentional damage must be reported by the guest before departure to be covered by the damage waiver. If an accident is not reported, repairs will be made at the guest's expense. Damage caused by pets is not covered.
Taxes: State sales tax (6%, effective January 1, 2012) and county hotel-motel tax (5%) is collected on the first 30 nights of all stays. State sales tax only is collected on the 31st-90th nights of all stays. Tax requirements are subject to change by state and local taxing authorities.

Love the location! A lot of homes advertise they are in the village but this one really is. !00 feet out your door and you are there! You do get some village noise but overall very quiet considering how close you are. Nice, clean and comfortable. Nice park nearby too with a nice playground which was great for the kids. Privacy fencing between the units is nice, you almost forget you have nextdoor neighbors. Would definitely rent again!
As someone who has stayed at this property in years past all I can say is WOW! The new owners have really made some significant updates to the interior. All new living room furniture and built in shelving, smaller kitchen table (which is a good thing- the previous huge table took up a lot of space), curtains and paint. While it was fine before, it really is much nicer and has a more open, uncluttered feeling. It is also pet friendly too for an extra fee, which was a deal compared to boarding our dog for a week. This has to be one of the best deals on the island! If you like to be near the Village, you could hardly do better than this location. Take a left out of the driveway and you are 50 feet away at the northern end of the Village. Easy walk to everything you could need except a grocery store. The beach at the pier is underwater at high tide, so you do need a car or bikes to go to Massengale Park about a mile away to get on the beach at high tide times. The owners were very prompt responding to our inquiries and were a pleasure to rent from. They have a local property manager that handles all the payments, maintenance issues and key pickup, which is nice to know that if there ever was a problem, you are dealing with someone locally and not long distance. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will continue to come back. Our family loves this place and we can't wait to return again!
This was our first time staying here and we loved it!!! It had everything you could possibly need. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and a super great location!! This will be a favorite place for my family for many more vacations.
