About Wai’ula’ula & Mauna Kea
Our 2,100 square foot second-floor Mauna Kea vacation rental is located near the end of a private lane at Wai’ula’ula. So at night, instead of traffic noise and headlights, you’ll hear the surf and see the hours-long sunsets, giving way to a sky full of stars.
If you stay with us at our condo, everyone in your group gets free, unlimited access to the luxury Mauna Kea and Hapuna Resorts on the shores of the Big Island. Swim, surf or sunbathe on the safest, sandiest private resort beaches in Hawaii. You'll also have access to meticulously maintained tennis courts and two championship golf courses. Leave your wallet behind. We’ll provide a charge card and you can settle up with the hotel when you leave!
Prefer to work out on state-of-the-art fitness equipment and then plunge into an infinity pool or hot tub? Come on over. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the amenity center from our Mauna Kea vacation rental. Use the grill and tables there for a family luau!
About Our Big Island Condo Rental
Wai'ula'ula homes at Mauna Kea Resort were crafted from the finest building materials and feature top-of-the-line appliances. For our part, we’ve spared no expense in lovingly furnishing our home with tasteful, comfortable furniture and collector’s art on the walls.
Enjoy two spacious master suites with extra comfortable king-size beds, made up with tempurpedic-style mattresses, silky-soft, 600-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. The 3rd bedroom is furnished with two comfy double beds. Each bedroom has its own wide-screen TV with almost as many cable channels as grains of sand on the Mauna Kea Beach!
Our Great Room is truly “great”! Recessed lighting, coffered ceilings, and a roomy dining area – featuring a hand-made glass top, koa wood dining table -- are just the beginning. Follow a day of sightseeing or beach-going with a quiet evening at home. Choose from the many books in our library ad popular games from our collection. For your soundtrack, plug your Apple device into the Surround Sound speakers. Or just plop down on the comfy sectional and watch the massive 50” flat screen TV with Blu-Ray player and about a bazillion cable channels!
The well-appointed Kitchen at our Big Island condo – with its cherry wood cabinets and granite countertop island – is a great place for creating casual meals or more formal dinners. (As formal as the Big Island gets, anyway!)
