You can actually gaze up and see the stars while relaxing at Red Bird Cabin on Private Red Bird Lane. If you are a couple escaping the grind, family on holiday, hunting trip, or a group of friends enjoying the lake and river over the weekend you will find Red Bird Cabin overlooking Pettit Bay, Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma a bargain. Red Bird Cabin is an efficient two bedroom two bath galley kitchen design.
Red Bird sleeps eight comfortably in beds and ten when air mattress is used in the loft. The Loft bedroom has Queen & Full beds and an air mattress to add 2 more. Access to loft bedroom is by Ladder Steps. The King Trundle Sofa trundles out exposing its king memory foam bed sleeping two more and En-Suite Queen memory foam bed make for ten.
The main bathroom has a walk-in shower / Infrared heater Sauna.
The En-suite bedroom is an elevated Queen memory foam mattress, there is a 24in TV with DVD across from the bed and a separate AC unit for those who want their sleeping temperature just right.
The En-suite bathroom with shower also houses the washer and dryer.
Kitchenette with utensils, cook plate, griddle, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, & under-counter refrigeration which holds 2 gal containers in door plus. Living area has an electric fireplace heater, 40in led TV as well as folding table and chairs. Screened-in Entry Lanai has built in seating and table. Outside courtyard next to landing deck you will find the Weber Classic charcoal grill, s'mores pit, & Dart Board.
Relax around the s'mores pit while enjoying real stars at night! Take a hike to clear water Lake Tenkiller's Pettit Bay Recreation Area just a 1000ft away where you moor your boat in the available slip at the marina.
Red Bird Lane is located just past the entrance to Lake Tenkiller's Pettit Bay Recreation Ares entrance part way up the hillside of Pettit Ridge overlooking Pettit Bay Road so you are not on display to passersby.
Boat trailer parking is tight on Red Bird Lane so unless you are an experienced trailer backer it is best to take advantage of one of our two reserved slips Pettit Bay Marina available at $30 per day.
After a busy day of fun, kick back and enjoy s'mores while gathered around the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub
When it's time to head back to the grind we make it easy on you. Other than washing dishes & taking out the trash don't worry about doing up the cabin. Simply leave the beds undone and toss the used towels in shower floor as we'll take care of getting it ready for the next guest.
