Dear Visitors & Guests, I am a native Galwegian – returned to my home town some years ago - now become a bustling 'mini-city with busy university and fabulous seaside resorts so close by! Having lived overseas for many years with a lively and engaged family – we couldn’t bear the thought any longer of staying in hotels, and so we put our travel experiences into action by developing some wonderful self-catering options for you in Galway City and Dublin City. We love these locations because they are such interesting places to spend time in! With many social and cultural activities for you to engage in, we add to this wherever we can by passing on our knowledge & wisdoms on where to go and what to do. And some hidden insights and knowledge too of the many different trips & tours you can undertake. This, together with enjoyable chats on Ireland’s history and greatly changed contemporary ways will give you an enjoyable insight into this busy and inventive little nation-island! Fabulous heritage sites and places of great antiquity are yours to explore and remember the ways of our forebears, plus an array of activities and social events to engage with in town all week. And not to be missed, so many live music sessions in the local pubs to participate in. At festival times, such as the ‘Cuirt’ Literary festival, the Galway Intl Film Festival, and fabulous Galway International Arts Festival, the town becomes an enervating creative centre of the universe! Our part is to ensure you have stylish, warm, and perfect homes-from-home to operate from as you enjoy all this immersion in things Irish. Architect-designed and built to a superb standard, the Coach House offers you stylish, glossy & smart interiors - a delightful home-from-home. Light bright interiors, porcelain tiled and polished granite floors to go barefoot on the underfloor heating, 3 double bedrooms to choose from, one is bathroom en-suite with slipper bathtub to sink into and shower overhead - gorgeous! With a further Main Bathroom upstairs, a guest toilet and further Wet Room downstairs, a large group of 6 to 8 guests is seriously well looked after. Also downstairs, the stylish Kitchen cum Dining Room - with all appliances you could need, is a beautiful space to sit back and relax - catch up together over a glass of wine around the beautiful Rosewood dining table seating 8+ guests. Across the hall, a cool elegant Sitting Room has two 3-seater Italian sofas and easy chairs, and is a wonderful place to read, catch up on international cable TV/news, and unwind after a long day of explorations. Under-floor heating throughout, with intelligent room controllers provides a warm glow whenever needed, and a natural-stone fire place is in the Sitting Room to gather around for additional warmth and glow. A separate Utility Room off the Kitchen - with Washing Machine, separate Dryer, Iron & Ironing Area, plus a useful stock of household items completes our preparations for guests.
