Why This Property?

We chose to build our home in a quiet cove of Deerfield Resort for our adult children, 8 grandchildren and ourselves to enjoy healthy family fun. There's nothing like being at the lake in the Summer !!

Unique Benefits

This protective cove of Deerfield Resort offers safe swimming at the dock for adults and children and we are not overwhelmed by boat wake from the main channel of the lake. Many hours each day are spent "jumping in the lake" playing card games and board games at the picnic table on the dock.

Deerfield Resort - Lake Front Home 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathrooms. Handicap accessible.

Enjoy using all your culinary skills in a LARGE gourmet kitchen, (27X30), that easily seats 22 persons. Two large granite counter top islands, 2 dishwashers, 6 burner gas cooktop, pot filler, warming drawer, double oven, 2 microwaves, 34 cu ft. refrigerator/freezer with ice cube maker. There are also 2 additional 25 cu ft. refrigerator/freezers in the lower level and the Carriage Apartment kitchen. A French Country Butler's Pantry near the kitchen is where your morning coffee awaits you and where the many small appliances are located including 3 drip coffee makers, 1 Kuerig coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, coffee carafes, 2 toasters, 2 pancake griddles, and 2 waffle irons. A generous supply of cookware/dishware/glassware/cooking utensils are provided along with 2 kitchen drawers of dish towels and 2 silverware drawers.

A large vaulted Great Room with a 55" Smart TV and fireplace leads to the outside covered deck and 13 foot outdoor dining table. There are 2 propane gas grills for outdoor cooking.
The Lower Level has a large widescreen TV, fireplace, custom bar, pool table, sitting area, and laundry room.

A short flight of stairs leads to the dock that can accommodate up to 5 boats/jet skis and has a large swimming platform. There are many Adirondack and canvas folding chairs, a picnic table, 2 ladders, 2 ceiling fans, a guest closet, 2 towel hanging lines, and an Atomic clock to keep your vacation "happy hour" on schedule. This lake front cove and dock allows adults and young swimmers to swim at the dock without being overwhelmed by boat wake from the main channel of the lake.

We are a short boat ride to the marinas in the area for boat fuel and outside café dining, Oasis Water Sports, Springs Dock, Shanghai Marina, and Sugar Hollow Marina. Oasis Water Sports is the only boat rental group that will deliver and pick up your rental boat at our dock and for no charge.

If there are babies in your group we have 2 full size cribs w/ mattresses, mattress pads, crib sheets, bumper pad, 1 high chair, 1 toddler booster seat, 1 baby stroller, and an assortment of books and toys.

There are 2 clothes washers and dryers, free wifi internet and landline long distance.

This is a non smoking/no pets home. Minimum renter age is 30 years.

Feel free to contact me if your favorite dates are not open on the calendar. June, July, and August are weekly rentals only, Saturday to Saturday.
