My wife Penny and I live in San Diego and frequently travel to Waikiki. We have owned this condo as a family since Oct 2000.
We have had many guests over the years with several regular becoming our friends. Our advise to travelers is to keep it slow, appreciate and respect Hawaii's land and it's people.

Why This Property?
As a frequent visitor to Waikiki since the 1980's we gravitated from budget hotels to privately owned condos. With each visit we became more interested in taking what we had learned while staying in other people's private condos and setting up our own vacation rental. With the Internet becoming a move viable method of advertising we took the plunge and purchased this ocean view condo.

What really sealed the deal with this condo was its great location, the building's identity as a home away from home for many long time visitors, and its resort amenities.
We learned on our many vacations to Waikiki that not all condos are created equal. At times the accommodations, while reasonable, were located in residential buildings that came with many challenges that this condo simply does not have. Challenges such as "Where do I park? How do I get the key? Will I need to wash towels or bedding? What happens when the sink plugs or the toilet overflows? Who do I call? How much of my vacation time is going to be wasted washing towels or fixing something that is broken? All of these question are answered below in "Unique Benefits".
This condo has become like a member of our family and we have had many special times here as have our guests, many of whom have stayed multiple times.
Something that makes this condo different from others is that on our frequent stays we always try to keep it up in a manner that makes it a home. The cupboards contain many spices and cooking supplies you would find in your own kitchen. The art on the walls have been collected over time for its special meanings and memories.
Hawaii is a paradise, Waikiki is an area that combines the relaxed beach vibe with the excitement of a big city, and our condo, in the heart of it all, offers the the Aloha spirit that is perpetuated throughout this special place.

The Imperial of Waikiki is for the most part a time share building with a select few private condos. This offers us, and our guests the unique ability to stay in a private condo at a great low price while enjoying the amenities and services of a fully functioning resort.
Drive your car into the valet area, unload, have a bellman help if you wish, go to the front desk and check in. The front desk will issue you a card key, let you know of the resort's amenities, give you your Free WiFi pass-code and wish you a pleasant stay.
Your stay includes Free Valet Parking, Free WiFi, Trash removal, Beach Towels, Free use of the Towel Exchange (fresh towels, beach towels, sheets, pillow cases, an extra blanket or pillow, soaps and shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels), Rooftop Pool, Hot Tub Area, Dry Sauna, Exercise Room, and Owners Lounge with it's outstanding views.
Lets not forget the one bedroom two bath condo itself! Fantastic view from the living area. Kitchen with more than just salt and pepper. Items such as oil, vinegar, soy sauce and a variety of spices. Pots, pans, blender, coffee maker: you will feel like you are in your own kitchen.
The main living area has hard surface wood grain flooring, sofa and loveseat, TV, stereo, table for four, ceiling fan and a/c. Huge picture glass windows showcase the ever changing blue and green hues of the tropical Pacific. Sliding glass doors open a lanai that offers couples a private perch to take it all in.
A full bathroom right off the kitchen will be much appreciated as couples can have their own bathrooms!
A separate bedroom with TV, comfortable queen bed, bathroom with shower, Hair dryer, makeup mirror. As an added bonus; a view of the ocean as you rest on the bed.
It only gets better! Downstairs is a concierge who can set up tours. Walk outside the building and you are in one of the best areas of Waikiki, with the beach, restaurants, live entertainment, shopping, transportation, and paradise right outside your door.
