My family had our annual sibling and spouse reunion at Canna Country Inn this year. We had a wonderful time there! There was more than enough room for the 8 of us - master suites, kitchens, lounging both inside and out. The game room was an added bonus as was the stream and hammock in the back. I can't say enough good things about your restored barn!! I highly recommend it for your group gatherings!
We get together annually with 9 friends and rent a facility for the week. The Canna Inn provided us with a facility that was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The atmosphere and location were perfect for our gathering. Susan and Daniel were perfect hosts and wanted to make sure our vacation was pleasant and enjoyable. We would recommend this Inn to anyone who wanted to have a relaxing and pleasant week vacation or affair.
This location was perfect for our week long family reunion. Less than an hour drive from three major points of interest for our group : Hershey, Gettysburg, and Lancaster. The interior was tastefully and thematically decorated. There were many places to gather and relax inside for visiting in small groups and a large meeting room where we could all eat together as one large group. The game room on the third floor was a big hit with the kids. The owners were friendly and quick to respond as we had questions during the week. The grounds were pleasant, including a large shaded area and a also grassy plain with a small stream running along the property border. Directly behind the barn is a flat lightly mulched area that we used every night for 9 square but it is versatile and could also be used for volleyball.
Six families from our China adoption group stayed at Canna Inn. We had 26 people, 13 adults and 13 children (ages 5 to 15). We had plenty of room for everyone. Each family had their own bathroom and there is also a half bath on the bottom level for everyone to use. The deck was awesome for the adults to sit in the evening. We made a fire one evening and the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and eating smores. The kitchen was well stocked and having the extra oven in the second kitchen worked well, when we baked pizzas for the group the first night. There were plenty of games and movies for the kids and the banquet area was perfect to all gather for dinner and to do crafts. Dan and Susan were wonderful hosts and were always responsive if we needed anything. We spent a few hours one day at Hershey Chocolate World, an afternoon in Amish Lancaster, and another afternoon in Gettysburg. All were within less than an hour drive. Thanks Again! We had a fabulous reunion!
This is an amazing place to stay and explore Harrisburg, Lancaster, and the Pennsylvania Dutch area. The room was lovely, fabulous bed, quiet, wonderful bathroom. The place has everything you could want including the use of a full kitchen. The hosts were marvelous and very helpful with information about the area and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this highly!
