Everyone loves this condo! This is not a remolded condo, but is well kept original condo in the resort. You will find it clean and stocked with many comforts of home. The pictures depict it perfectly. No surprises. If you like the pictures, you will like it here. It's a family rental and is very comfortable and cozy.
It is located in the very quiet, high-end gated Desert Princess Resort. 10-15 minute drive to Palm Springs shopping, dining, sites & nightlife! It has all the comforts of home, including 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed and 2 full beds) a sofa bed (queen), full kitchen, 2 bathrooms with double sinks. There is a tub and shower in the second bathroom and a shower in the master. There is also cable tv, internet, washer/dryer in unit (not available May 29-June 5) and patio with propane BBQ. There are entrances to the patio from the living room area and master bedroom. Enjoy watching the sunset from the patio as you overlook the green belts!
Unit is stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, pillows and many comforts of home. This is a busy family condo, so don't expect the towels to match. There are some paper products (toilet paper and paper towels), enough for 3-7 days, depending on your usage.
Kitchen has a toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, electric stove and oven and refrigerator/freezer. There are also glasses, 6 wine glasses, a few plastic cups for the pool, plates, non stick cookware, utensils, wine opener, and other necessities. If you require anything in particular, please inquire and I can let you know if we supply it. (Please note, it's a rental, so the cookware, dishes, glassware and utensils are "rental quality".).
The flooring is new tile in living areas, bathrooms and kitchen with an area rug in the living room. There is carpet in the bedrooms.
***There are some "high traffic" areas on the rugs and carpeted areas, as is to be expected in a busy condo. So, if you expect pristine carpets and rugs, then this may not be the place for you. It's our home, but not a model home. (We kindly ask that no shoes be worn in the bedrooms, if possible, to help keep it clean for the next guests.)***
The resort has 33 pools (some heated) and hot tubs. The condo is a 1 minute walk to the closest pool and spa. There are 9 tennis courts, 4 lighted courts, PGA golf course, full service spa, fitness center, restaurant, public bar, free parking and 24 security. Come stay in style at this desert paradise.
Cathedral City requires all stays under 28 days to pay a a 12% occupant tax, just like hotels do. Many hosts add this into the nightly rate, however by not doing so, you are not charged extra, as your fees paid are based on the total amount of your stay. The tax amount is due at checkout by cash, money order or cashiers check, to be left on the counter in the envelope provided or in the guest folder. We will message you the exact total with the lock box code 2 days before check in.
Resort is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport, downtown Palm Springs, the famous Aerial Tramway, Visitor's Center, Living Zoo, Museums, Restaurants, Shopping, Water Park, Boomers Amusement Park, and more!
This is the desert, so you will see a bug or two on your visit. It's just part of living in the desert...There is also dust and dirt outside. Again, desert living.
Full propane tanks are not guaranteed for the BBQ. Guests will need to provide their own propane if the tank is low or empty. Guest is also liable for any damage caused by the use of the BBQ.

The Desert Princess' newly renovated Full Service Spa has everything one is looking for in a first-class spa experience. The Spa at Desert Princess offers a variety of spa services such as massage, facials and amazing body treatments. The exclusive and luxurious spa pool and patio areas make it a wonderful area to relax and take in some sun, read a book or gather with friends and enjoy our beautiful surroundings in between spa treatments.
Desert Princess offers a full range of recreational opportunities for its members and guests: tennis, fitness, bocceball, pickleball, racquetball, squash, basketball, horseshoes, and swimming. Some activities require a reservation and a fee, such as golf and fitness classes.
Pools are open from 8 am until 10 pm. The Fitness Center is open from 6 am – 7 pm Monday-Friday and 7 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
