Merci beaucoup Sandra pour ce merveilleux sejour passรฉ chez vous! We had a great time at Sandra's house. It was a delightful place to stay at. Everything was perfect for all of us. You are my first guests from France, and should you ever return to the Cape, you will always be welcome. Thank you for your review and wishing you safe travels wherever you may go.
We found this property to be clean, comfortable and close to anything we needed. Our Master BR was comfortable with our 4 yr old twins sharing the Queen bed next room over. We did not use the lower area, but it looked like it would be accomodating for school aged kids. I was VERY impressed with the bright clean laundry room as I have experienced some scary and dank facilities in other rentals. The owner was delightful and helpful, and "the binder" was helpful! You MUST check out Showtime pizza, which was recommended by the owner and had the best pizza ever-both regular and gluten free! Views from the deck were fab and relaxing. Short drive to Mayflower Beach, gorgeous beyond words and perfect for young and old alike. The only thing that could be improved upon, and this may sound silly, would be the labeling of the many wall switches and timers. I accidentally turned on the bathroom heater and repeatedly struggled with getting the front porch light on. Overall, would HIGHLY reccommend without hesitation. If you are looking for place to rest and relax after a day of activity in the Cape, then this is the place for you! Centrally located, it was a quick drive to beaches and points of interest. Kayaking in The Bass River (8 mins away) was enjoyed by all in my party. The neighborhood was very quiet and allowed for R&R. Ours was a group of five: Two Adults, a young adult, a teenager and child of nine. The downstairs offered plenty of space for the kids to gather and watch movies from "a very large TV" with Blue-ray DVD and having their own bathroom was....a definite plus! However, we all agreed the best room of all was the Living room/ Dining room which opened up to the outdoor deck from sliding doors that allowed refreshing breezes to enter. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing home made meals that could be enjoyed in the outdoor deck while watching sailboats in the pond, which was sized more like a lake. All throughout the home there were touches of art to keep reminding you that you were "At the Beach". The owner was great to work with, and answered all questions in a timely manner and offered suggestions for places to eat. Continuous improvements to the home, seem to be in the plans. Always a good thing! I have enjoyed our emails and conversations, you and your family are always welcome back at my cottage.
The house was perfect, it was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The house was also very spacious and well stocked with anything you could need. The pictures posted are truly accurate. It was such a beautiful and peaceful environment and centrally located so that we were able to travel to all the lovely towns on the cape. Sandy was awesome to work with and quick to answer any questions we had, as well as the binder she has made up with information on the house, and things to do and see. As it was only me and my husband, it was not a problem to do the laundry before checkout. We had such a wonderful time here on Cape Cod, while staying in a such a comfortable and lovely house. Thanks Sandy. My Response Thank you, Christi. I am glad I could be of help; it lessens the angst of renting my cottage when I know it's been enjoyed and well taken care of. You and Ed will always be welcomed guests .
This home was perfect for our stay on the Cape this Christmas. Had everything we needed; tastefully decorated, is in a nice, convenient location for us and was rented to us at a very fair price. The ONLY thing that would make this rental better would be having a linen cleaning service. With having an 8 hr drive ahead of us that morning, and having to wake our kids up at an earlier hour than desired in order to get 2 loads of laundry done in the morning by an 11 AM check-out time was the only "meh" to this stay. Next time, I will make a mental note to bring our own towels & sheets. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable. Thank you, Sandy! Recommended for: Families with Young Children My Response Thank you very much, Beth, I am glad that my cottage worked for you all. Next time, if it is off season, and new guests aren't coming in right after you, you may have a flexible check out. Whether you bring your linens or not, it will surely make the last day easier with the children and the long drive. (There are reasonably priced local linen services available if you prefer, as well.) Thank you again. Loved having someone in my cottage at Christmas .
