Boulder offers the perfect location for your vacation in Capitol Reef National Park, Escalante area and Brice National Park. Located in Boulder, on Utah-12 is Anasazi Indian Village State Park. This site offers an excavated Anasazi village and a museum.

House is located in Escalante National Monument area off the scenic highway 12 on Burr Trail. It is only 36 miles from Capitol Reef National Park and 23 miles from Hole-in-the-Rock Road.
Hole-in-the-Rock Road is on the south edge of Boulder Mountain and cuts through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It provides access to an amazing canyon network and some of the best slot hikes to be found on earth. Hiking, backpacking, biking and horseback riding are favorite activities in this area. The road also features Devil's Garden which is an Outstanding Natural Area with easy hiking.
There is also Zebra slot canyon, often photographed for its amazing pink strips.
The main canyon, called Coyote Gulch, offers towering high walls and superb narrows.
Dry Fork Canyon is a major tributary to Coyote Gulch and serves as a corridor into this scenic area. The Dry Fork Trailhead is a beautiful, narrow canyon that offers several miles of hiking opportunity.
Peek-A-Boo Gulch is a beautifully sculptured slot that runs for about half a mile to a wide, sandy wash.
Spooky Gulch is the next opening as you hike down Dry Fork. It offers a great slot canyon hike through beautifully eroded Navajo sandstone. The canyon is deep and it constantly twists and bends, creating the eerie and haunting nature captured in its name. Spooky is the narrowest slot normal-sized adults can get through.
Our house has 2 levels with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a king bed with the attached bathroom in the master suite upstairs and a queen bed with the guest bathroom in the second bedroom downstairs. Downstairs bedroom also has a pull out sofa. The second sleeper sofa is located in our TV room downstairs. Please note, there is no TV service or cable available. Guests are treated to all of the amenities they might need. Yes, we do have AC. Living room upstairs has sitting area with DVD library and variety of games and books. Dining area and the kitchen are adjacent to the living room. Entire upstairs level is wrapped around with our specious deck. Enjoy the views while preparing your meals on the grill.

We had a fabulous Spring Break here. The setting for this beautiful home is stunning. Boulder, Utah, is an awesome tiny town with THE most amazing restaurant (Hell's Backbone Grill) and tons of fun hiking, biking (Thunder Mountain bike trail is sooooo good!), and exploring all around. The house is very private, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The owners are SUPER nice and helpful, too. Can't wait to come again!

What a beautiful house to spend some spring time days. We enjoyed the wrap around deck and the view. Lovely two bedrooms and baths and plenty of room in the family/dining room . Most enjoyable.

From the deck, to the back yard, to the wonderful floor plan this house was just what we needed. It was so beautiful on the property we almost did not want to leave but we did to explore the many area sights including hiking in canyons and biking near Bryce Canyon. Although we had fun on our daily adventures, we were so happy to return to this lovely, relaxing, and fully equipped home in the evenings.We also enjoyed eating at Hell's Backbone Grill which is very close. One of our most favorite getaways!
