There are not enough words to describe Nathalie's villa at Las Terranas. We stayed there for our honeymoon and were treated with spectacular service. Nathalie was efficient, business like and very caring that we had everything to make a memorable stay. The villa is EXTREMELY well cared for, very clean and all amenities functional. The decor is tropical and has a plantation like feel. Very airy and tranquil with fresh sheets and clean towels; white ones for the bathrooms and blue for poolside. Here are some our other highlights: 1) We were unfamiliar with transportation so Nathalie pre-arranged a taxi for our airport transport. 2) We wished for certain foods/drinks to be on hand for our arrival which she provided with ease for us along with a lovely basket of fruits and local coffee. 3) The language is different than the traditional Spanish language so I was having trouble communicating. Nathalie with a wonderful elegance, made dinner reservations for us as well as gave us useful information about local area eateries, etc. 4) Nathalie provided a local cell phone for our use if needed. It included her contact number as well as all local emergency numbers. (heaven forbid!!!) 5) Louisa, the housekeeper and cook was AMAZING. Not only did she clean spotlessly, she prepared two traditional Dominican meals for us. She is happy to do more but we wanted only a traditional breakfast and dinner. It was flawless and she is a joy to have bustling around the house. 6) The pool was heavenly. Very clean (three times per week) and just the right temperature. 7) The ceiling fans were all that were needed to keep us comfortable however there is air conditioning if need be. We didn't use it but it's available. 8) There is a wonderful night watchman that is very caring and aware of all guests comings and goings. The neighborhood is VERY safe but it was an added measure for foreign travelers that may be unsure. All total, we will revisit Las Terranas again and we are so thankful to have met Nathalie! Very well done!
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful villa. The home is extremely well-kept and well-appointed. It was comfortable, clean and a quiet place to stay in. It was great having a pool in the house, given the hot/humid weather of Dominican Republic. The villa is walking distance to the town and the beach. Las Terrenas is gorgeous, with a bustling town and beautiful beaches. We will definitely come back again and stay at Nathalie's place!
We came across this rental, looked very nice, clean in a great area, contacted the owner . The response time was very good as we wanted to rent for that very week. Nathalie responded to me immediately. As we arrived to Villa Jona, we were greeted by the owners, to run through different procedures, ex: how the television works, air conditioning, lights etc... for the Villa. The Villa is exceptional, a lot of work has been put in, as well it is very well maintained, we can understand the reason behind making sure to go through all procedures. As I myself have a rental property. The Villa is situated in a very quiet area, you barely hear any others around. Everything you need is within a 5 to 10 min away. The town itself is very nice to walk through in the early evening. Great restaurants, beaches as well. That being said we simply enjoyed the private pool at the Villa, We have stayed in different Villas, it has been our best experience in a Villa. We hope this helps you with your future decision. We plan on returning sooner than later.
My wife and our four adult children spent a Holiday Season week at Nathalie's villa in Las Terrenas and loved it! The villa was spacious, well-equipped, well-maintained and nicely located in a secure compound just a short walk from the beach, and a moderate walk to the many shops and services of Las Terrenas. We rented an ATV to explore the broader area around Las Terrenas, but could easily have walked to everywhere we needed for a self-catered week on the beach. The main-floor configuration offers a wonderful outdoor-feel in the main living areas, and plenty of room to read, nap, play games, prepare meals and gather around the table. Three maid service visits during the week, and the nearby support Nathalie provided, helped make our visit absolutely wonderful!
We had a fantastic stay at Nathalie and Johan's Villa. There was plenty of room for my family (a preschooler and toddler), a grandma, uncle, and aunt. The girls loved the pool and everything inside the home was just as described. The hosts were great, always available/responsive and yet we had complete privacy. Las Terrenas and the whole Peninsula where fantastic. We spend 8 days in DR, 2 in Santo Domingo and the rest in this home. Between the beaches in town, Playa Rincon at the end of the peninsula, whale watching from Samana and the waterfall in El Limon, we had a great mix of relaxation, beautiful scenery, and adventure. We all loved it. Great walking to beach and town, too!
