We usually stay on Jekyll Island, GA for two weeks every year. This year due to Jekyll Island still recovering from Hurricane Irma, we were unable to get a place that would be good for my family for two weeks. I have heard many families talk about Cape San Blas and with it being a "one tank gas trip"; and dog friendly, we decided to try it and it was everything we hoped and more!! So relaxing, so quiet and so beautiful. The gated community was perfect for my son and his buddy to ride their bikes to the pool and beach. We did a turtle patrol and my husband helped to relocate a nest to prevent wash out. The cottage was perfect and the property manager was so attentive and kind. In fact, she stopped by to change out the beach chairs and we chatted almost an hour!! The bike rental company they referred-perfect, the maintenance guy-super nice and even the trash pick up crew was awesome!! I'll be back and this is our new fave getaway!!
