About Martyn
We were lucky enough to buy this wonderful apartment after falling in love with the area. We first met in Salzburg in 1986 and have always wanted to fulfil our dream of owning a property here. We are delighted to now be able to share this with you.

In the heart of the Austrian Lakes District, St Wolfgang is one of the most popular resorts in the whole of Austria. This charming and historic village is in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Wolfgangsee (Lake Wolfgang). Our apartment is right in the centre near the ancient pilgrimage church, frescoed buildings, shops and cafes off cobbled streets, where you can enjoy Austrian delicacies such as Apfel Strudel and where there are such an array of cakes you just wonโt know where to begin!
Opposite our apartment is the White Horse Inn made famous by the Operetta of the same name. Music is very important to St Wolfgang - every night in the summer there are light classical, folklore and operatic concerts and twice weekly there are brass band concerts in the village square. Sit in a nearby cafรฉ and enjoy the concerts along with a cool beer or wine, or if you prefer to stay in you can sit in the apartment, open the windows and enjoy a musical accompaniment to your evening meal!
In winter, as a family ski destination St Wolfgang is paradise.
There are several ski areas close by but the area also offers a whole host of other activities making it ideal for both skiers and non-skiers.
