Before I describe the property...e-mail me with the size of your party, length of stay, etc. and I will provide you a quote. Just as an approximation, for groups and separate couples, weeknights are $70 per bedroom used, weekends are $80 per bedroom used. Prices are higher on special or high demand weekends (football games, graduation, etc.). There is a lot of flexibility in my pricing so definitely send me an inquiry. When you rent the house, you get it all to yourself/your group. There won't be another person or group cohabiting it.
It's 2100 sf, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and is perfect for family or groups coming in for weddings, graduation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or U of A parents for Orientation, move-in, or just a regular group of two or three couples in town for any reason.
Regarding popular wedding venues: The Botanical Garden is a seven minute drive from the house, Sassafras Springs Vineyards is a 10-15 minute drive, Pratt Place Inn and Barn is a 15 minute drive, and Dickson Street with it's many churches is only 10 minutes away.
The U of A campus and downtown Dickson Street entertainment district are just 10 minutes away, while it's just five minutes to the north end of town, and three minutes to the Whole Foods store. The neighborhood is a quiet tranquil established neighborhood comprised mostly of retirees and empty-nesters, with a handful of families thrown in.
Completely renovated in 2006, the house has gorgeous hardwood floors, an open floor plan, a 250 sf covered patio. The kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, plates, cooking utensils, silverware, serving platters, barware, etc. and every imaginable cooking device. The living room has a Vizio 42" smart TV, so you can access Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc. Also the sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen size sleeper. The master bathroom includes a deep walk in shower and a big jetted tub. Three bedrooms have king beds, the fourth a queen. Linens (800 thread count) and towels are high end. Each bedroom has a Keurig coffee maker, I-phone charging alarm clock, ceiling fan, ironing board and iron, and robes with slippers. There is wi-fi all throughout the house.
