About Belinda
I bought this cabin as a second home when I lived in Atlanta. After retiring, I bought a much larger piece of property nearby. I loved this cabin so much, I decided to keep it as a rental so I could still enjoy the creek, hot tub and other ammenities while also allowing others to enjoy this unique property. It is still my favorite place to go to relax and be close to nature.

Laze away the hours in the hammock under the shade trees, enjoy a campfire, or spend time relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the soothing sounds of the creek. Enjoy nearby rafting, boating, kayaking, tubing, and canooing. The cabin is just minutes from the famous Tellico Mountains and close to both the Ocoee, Nantahala, and Nottley Rivers as well as several lakes (Lake Chatuge, Lake Hiawassee, Lake Ocoee, Apalachia Lake, and Lake Santeetlah). Go houseback ridding, take a ride on a zip line, try your luck at the local cassino, or go antiquing. Don't forget about the John Campbell Folk School with events weekly throughout the Summer. Check out our local flee market, visit a winery, take a trip on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, or just enjoy the majesty of the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains. The area is famous for world-class motorcycling. Just 2 hours or less from Atlanta (world-famous acquarium), Chattonooga, TN, Knoxville, TN, Franklin, NC, Ashville, NC (Biltmore Estates), Cherokee, NC (Cherokee Indian Reservation, Museum, Shoping and Casino), Gatlinburg, TN, and Pidgeon Forge (Dollywood).
Our cabin is a great place for a Winter retreat. We get frequent snowfalls (2 to 3 inches) and roads to the cabin are well maintained during the Winter months.
