This nautically inspired air-conditioned 2-story 2 BR 2BA waterfront villa is nestled in a quiet protected cove and surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. The villa overlooks a new 30-foot pool that was completed in November 2016. You’ll appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of having the sea at your doorstep in Caribe Pointe Bight.
Enjoy 325 square feet of private outdoor veranda offering breathtaking vistas of the turquoise Caribbean sea and reef. Looking off in the distance, you can see the mountains on the Honduras mainland.
The spectacular barrier reef is easily accessible for snorkeling and diving. Kayak through the famous Mangrove Canals, built by the Payan Indians and then cool down with a cold beer at Tricos (Jonesville Point Marina), McNabbs restaurant or Hole in the Wall, nearby in the Jonesville harbor. This is truly a destination get-a-way for stress-free vacationing!
ABOUT THE VILLA
Through your private garden and veranda you enter the first floor of this seafaring villa, which consists of a fully air-conditioned great room with a double sized futon, totally equipped kitchen and bath with a shower. The kitchen features custom made Honduran hardwood cabinets and a small dining area. There is an additional dining table on the veranda along with 2 full size loungers..
Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with its own deck for enjoying that first cup of morning coffee or to catch the sun going down over the hills. Custom made Marapolan furniture provides numerous drawers and storage. You’ll especially enjoy the queen memory foam bed covered with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Use the bonus room, with full size bed as an extra bedroom, for storage, or as your office away from home. The full upstairs bath features a large shower with a seat and lots of custom cabinetry.
Ceiling fans abound throughout both floors of the villa and each bedroom has its own air-conditioner. Your rate includes the bedroom AC. A split unit AC serves the downstairs area and can be used for an extra $100 week to cover the electricity. We are eco-friendly here - - we ask our guests to recycle and conserve water and electric when not needed.
You’ll find this villa very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant relaxing stay. The villa is the first two floors of the 3-story building on the water side. The property owners' veranda and a small part of their living room is on the floor above. Although normally very quiet and private, you may hear residual noise as if in a condo building.
You'll love buying fresh fish, lobster, shrimp and crab from local fishermen right at your own dock. Or visit several nearby 'locals' restaurants for the best and most reasonably priced meals on the island. Cals, our favorite restaurant is just 4 miles down the main road.
Sit-on-top kayaks that normally rent for $50/day each on the island are included FREE with your rental. Swim and snorkel from the dock or visit communities up and down the coast, stopping to snorkel along the way.
Explore the nearby mangrove tunnels via kayak. These amazing tunnels were built by the Payan Indians. You'll never tire of the beauty both above and below the water.
