Maui Kai 807 is a small boutique oceanfront studio condo in West Maui on North Kaanapali Beach which you can book at mauikaibiz.
After a busy day of sightseeing, shopping, beaching and swimming in the warm ocean waters, return to the comforts and conveniences of your Hawaiian home. Take a refreshing shower before enjoying a fresh pineapple mai-tai on the private lanai while watching a gorgeous sunset.
If you wish to continue enjoying the sunset afterglow from the lanai instead of going out to one of the many fine restaurants a short drive away, you can grill fresh mahi-mahi or ahi steaks on the gas barbecues in the swimming pool area or prepare your own meal using fresh local foods purchased from the large grocery store or from the local farmers market, both a short walk away.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities for making a gourmet meal: refrigerator with filtered drinking water and ice maker, full-size stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, all of the kitchen utensils and appliances a foodie could desire and a vast array of local and Asian cuisine cookbooks.
You may never leave the lanai! The views of the brilliant blue ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai are spectacular. Nowhere in Hawaii but West Maui can you get such a view. During whale season you can use the binoculars in our condo to watch the humpback whales from your front row seats on the lanai, some as close as 100 yards offshore!
Our recently remodeled, 8th floor, oceanfront studio has been lovingly decorated to reflect the Hawaiian spirit. It includes all the amenities of a home away from home: daily maid service, central air conditioning, 32' high-definition flat-screen cable TV with HD DVR, Blu-Ray DVD, VCR, CD player, iPod docking station, FREE high speed cable and Wi-Fi Internet connection, queen pillowtop bed, easy chairs, dining table and a desk for your laptop computer, all with views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. Our unit will provide you with all the comforts you desire.
The private oceanfront balcony allows you to sit and dine outside with complete and total privacy from your neighbors while enjoying the unparalleled 180-degree view of the islands of Lanai and Molokai.
In our oceanfront studio you will fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the ocean waves. If quiet and privacy are as important to you as they are to us then you will revel in the peace and quiet that the Maui Kai concrete block construction provides.
Maui Kai has a lovely heated pool, Jacuzzi and gas barbecues. The pool area has picnic tables and outdoor furniture for hosting meals with friends and family. The pool cabana has a full kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven), bathrooms, lending library, ping pong table and dart board. It also has a FREE computer with a high-speed Internet connection for checking your email, surfing the web and printing your boarding passes.
Shortly before you leave for your stay in Maui Kai 807, I will email you my Local Girl's Guide to Maui. The guide started as a list I gave my friends of my favorite restaurants on Maui but over the years I've added information about my favorite local foods, where to buy them, farmers markets, beaches, snorkeling spots, hikes, excursions and of course shopping! The guide offers my unique perspective as a local Hawaii girl who has grown up, lived in and experienced the islands her entire life. We stayed in a junior suite that we booked through Donna Bender, owner of Unit 807. Location of this unit was stellar. Watch rainbows, sunsets and whales from the deck while hearing the continual sound of the waves. It doesn't get much better. To top it off Donna gave us a free copy of Local Girls Guide to Maui which is continually updated by Donna with excellent tips. Room Tip: Due to its beauty, and location, book early.

We stayed in a 1-bedroom corner unit that Unit 807 owner Donna Bender booked for us. My wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary and we loved it. The accommodations were all we could ask for. Very clean condo with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. We will return to Maui again and without a doubt stay here again! The location is great, with plenty of on-site parking, access to the beach and a nice grocery store with other shops walking distance from Maui Kai. A nice boardwalk with plenty of other restaurants and shops along the way as well. The condo has spectacular views and the sounds of the ocean made for a very tranquil experience. Donna was delightful to speak with and answered questions we had about Maui in general and also Maui Kai Condos. She helped make our experience a memorable one. Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui which had much helpful information. The Guide told us everything we needed to know about Maui from restaurants, shopping, beaches and much more. We will consider staying here again.

We booked unit 807 through its owner Donna Bender who along with her husband were very helpful in making our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip very memorable. This unit was perfect , the view was just AMAZING !! Clean, comfortable and a great location . We enjoyed our morning walks along the boardwalk, did snorkeling nearby, very convenient to stores , restaurants etc. Donna shared her Local Girl's Guide to Maui with us which was wonderful in seeking information on where and what to explore in the area. We hope to go back !!!

I'm fortunate to be able to go to Maui twice a year. I've stayed at lots of different places, but I feel that the Maui Kai is the best place to stay. First off it is a good value and they don't add on extras like parking, Internet or resort fees.. Since all units are ocean front the view is great. Also the staff is very friendly and the location is good as it is walking distant from grocery stores and restaurants. When I go to the MK I always stay in Donna Bender's unit 807 because it has some extras like a VCR, a frig with an ice machine in fact her kitchen is better equipped than my own. Plus you get a copy of her Girl's Guide to Maui, which is full of tips of thing to do and places to eat.

My unit does have a VCR but more importantly it has a HD (high-definition) digital video recorder (DVR) and HD TV service for you to record your favorite shows and sports. Maui Kai is one of the few properties that doesn't charge any fees - all you pay is the room rate plus tax. Each time you visit, I'm glad you make good use of the latest monthly edition of my Local Girl's Guide to Maui - updated monthly because restaurants come, restaurants go and some aren't as good as they used to be (in which case I delete them from my guide). Every year we book Maui Kai 807 through its owner Donna Bender. Maui Kai 807 has become our home away from home! We love the location, the views, and of course the Humpback Whales play right in front of our Lanai! The office staff are very pleasant and always willing to help with any needs that come up! Maui Kai has just recently done upgrades to the building, and recreation area. Donna always gives us the latest monthly edition of her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. This is a great addition for planning things to do, places to eat, places to see!
