This is a very nice cosy home which is bigger than the pictures imply. The house was very clean and well furnished, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. There were some useful items provided, including cleaning products, herbs/sauces, soap and toilet rolls. The garden is delightful, with lots of herbs and fruit trees - the lemon tree was a particular hit with us! We enjoyed fresh lemon juice everyday with the seemingly never ending supply of lemons it provided! The owners were very responsive and helpful. The local area is safe, quiet and suburban, with shops a short walk down the hill, however, to access the train or other areas, a car is a must. We found the location very central for both SF city visits as well as exploring the Bay area.
We are a family of five with family in the SF area whose home just can't accommodate our crowd (!) and hotels are prohibitively expensive. We were delighted to find this home in the Belmont area, mere minutes from our relatives' home, and even more delighted to arrive and see the beautiful garden, the spotless accommodations, and the luxurious hotel-quality towels. We will stay here again!
Comfortable place for my elder parents to stay at. The house is charming with no luxuries but definitely makes up for it with the super fast and attentive response from the owner. Everythingvin perfect order. Spacious great place for families with jids or a small group. Walking distance to dining and grocery for adults, but not most elders over 65. Safe established neighborhood. Perfect launchpad for Silicon Valley and SF.
Everything in the description is accurate, including the charming garden and the lemon tree full of lemons! My family and I had a very enjoyable stay here. The owners were very responsive. The neighbor was safe and quiet!
Everything was great about this property from the location to the breathtaking and meticulous yard/garden (fresh orange and lemon trees!) to the meticulously clean interior to Bill's exceptional correspondence. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our family trip great!
