We are a local family originally from historic Plymouth, Vermont. Nathanial Bowman Brown camped at the head of Lake Amherst during the Revolutionary War. He returned to the are after the war and with a few other settlers founded the town of Saltash which is known as Plymouth, Vermont today. His descendent Margaret and her husband were given the land that was passed down and built a cottage in 1934. It remains in the family today.

The cottage is such a relaxing, calming place. We have added many "must-have" conveniences with high quality creature comforts because it needs to be "that" special place. We love entertaining at the cottage because the set-up is so "party friendly" and there is plenty of room for many friends to stay. The area is packed with fun things to do such as shopping in beautiful Woodstock, skiing/hiking at either Killington or Okemo, Long Trail Brewery lunches, tours & samples at the Plymouth Cheese Factory, and trips to Buttermilk Falls to name only a few.
