About the Property
This is our lovely Viking Lodge condo, located in beautiful Telluride, Colorado! It is a one bedroom, one bathroom condo, and can sleep up to 4 guests in total. We remodeled the condo in 2011 (to the studs) and installed a new kitchen, bathroom, hardwood floors and all new furniture & fixtures. This is our lovely Viking Lodge condo, located in beautiful Telluride, Colorado! It is a one bedroom, one bathroom condo, and can sleep up to 4 guests in total. We remodeled the condo in 2011 (to the studs) and installed a new kitchen, bathroom, hardwood floors and all new furniture & fixtures. Our condo is located directly on the San Miguel River in Telluride. Sip a cocktail on your private balcony overlooking the San Miguel River, with dramatic views of the breathtaking San Juan mountains rising up overhead! Laze by the pool on a hot summer's afternoon or soak in the salt water hot tub after a big ski day.

VIKING LODGE LOCATION.
The location of this rental could not be better, right in Telluride town on the junction of Pacific & Davis Streets. Once you park your car, you won't need it for the rest of your stay. Walk to everything! This intersection is a little hive of activity with a few stores including a wine store, a very popular Thai restaurant (Siam) and a dangerously good cocktail bar called 'There'. If you are visiting Telluride for skiing, the base of Lift 7 is within view, about 200 yards/metres away. The gondola is a 5 minute walk in the other direction. You can also jump on the free shuttle bus right outside the Viking Lodge complex. If you are visiting for a festival, the front gates of Town Park are a 7-8 minute walk, straight down Pacific Street. The Viking Lodge has a large parking lot that is for residents & guests to use. This is a first come, first served parking lot, and spaces are not allocated. Most days parking is fine however festival and holidays do get busy!!

A quaint Victorian town, tucked in a dramatic box canyon in southwest Colorado, Telluride boasts world class skiing, internationally acclaimed festivals, endless summer hiking, colorful local characters and a charm like no other. Often described as "the way Aspen used to be in the 60's", Telluride has worked hard at maintaining it's small town vibe. It's the kind of place where you can easily come cool, and have made 20 new friends by the time the week is out.

We bought this condo in 2011 & it desperately needed some love! Me & my husband remodeled the entire condo to the studs (and we managed to stay together). In fact, we even got pregnant with our first child while remodeling the condo. So it wasn't all bad! We now live in Telluride with our 2 kids, Tilly & Ralf.
