Wonderfully renovated, quaint and charming home is set in the heart of Chatham village. Enjoy the full benefit of being steps away from Main Street, the scenic beaches, and the ocean. There are 3 bedrooms/2 baths and plenty of private outdoor space including an outdoor shower and a fire pit.
Outdoors, you will be greeted with the idyllic charming Cape style with weathered shingles and well manicured landscaping. Enter through the welcoming gated arbor, and leave the stress behind as this private oasis is exclusively yours to enjoy. You’ll have the option to prepare easy meals on the gas grill, and optionally eat al fresco at the outdoor table.
Once inside, our main level open floor plan is warm and inviting with wide plank flooring. In the heart of the home is a beautifully updated, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a sizable island and breakfast bar. A full size dining area opens to both the kitchen and living room for truly open family living. The living room provides comfortable seating with a large 55 inch internet/app ready smart TV. Cable and Wi-Fi access connects you to countless entertainment options of your choice. Updated lighting, window shutters and a skylight provide a nice, bright and airy feel throughout. Fireplace is ornamental only. Central air conditioning (2 zones - an upper and lower) and heating 1 zone for entire house) ensure your comfort year-round.
The upper level has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The primary bedroom has a king bed and a flat screen TV with cable HD channels. The ''Ahoy Room'' has two double/full beds and a flat screen TV with cable HD channels. The ''Mermaid'' room has a queen bed and overlooks a private landscaped garden. The upstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower and granite vanity.
The property does include pillows and blankets (see number and sizes of beds above). NOTE: Bed linens (bed sheets) and towels (bath/hand/face/beach) are not provided as is customary in house rentals on the Cape. You may bring your own (see sizes of beds above) or you may rent these (they drop off and pick up at property) at one of two local places. Linen sources can be provided on request.
Beautifully renovated and modern full bathrooms are found on each level for your convenience. Full size washer and dryer for laundry are handily located in the clean unfinished basement.
This villager home is a unique set up as it shares a common wall with one other home yet has private entrances, parking, and all outdoor areas are exclusive use, private and fenced. We have assigned parking for 2 vehicles only. However, there are alternative offsite parking options nearby, please ask.
Booking Agreement: Owner requires booking guest to sign booking agreement within 24 hours of booking to confirm any reservation. Our max guests of 8 persons works when a mix of parents/small children. Our adult limit is 6 adults. Each individual child or infant counts as a person. We are a no pets home. Exterior camera on property facing driveway only; does not view interior or private use exterior spaces. No music outside after 10pm in the private area to be respectful of neighbors. Any exception (guest max, pet, other) MUST BE PRE-APPROVED by owner BEFORE submitting a Request to Book. Therefore please send us an email using the "Contact Host".

Enjoy the full benefit of being steps away from Main Street (2-3 minute walk) and all the shops, restaurants and pubs. From the property to the backdoor of the Chatham Bars Inn is 2-3 minutes walk (great for dinner, lunch or breakfast). The public 9 hole course (owned by town of chatham) is great fun, inexpensive and they rent clubs. This is a 2-3 minute walk to the golf shop check-in desk from the property. This is good fun for all but we have found it is a great thing for the kids to go an do on own (it is a full size 9 hole course but on the shorter side and not difficult to play and they also rent junior clubs).
The scenic beaches (walk to oyster beach (great kids beach) or Claflin Landing - both 5-10 minute walk). Claflin Landing beach is not private and sits directly next to the beach of Chatham Bars Inn. You can also walk to lighthouse beach via main street and browse the shops on way which is about 20 min/1 mile this way you don't need to park your car at beach.
While we suggest a car overall so you can see surrounding sights and visit the bigger beaches and waves within and around Chatham, once you arrive at property you will use the car very little since we are in the heart of it all. We have found adults like this especially given you can enjoy the nightlife (pubs, music) and not have to get into car to drive back to property.

Of course with Main Street just mere steps away, you'll have easy access to all the wonderful cafes, shops and restaurants. You can head out to the beach without packing up the car - a plus when it's super busy. Just around the corner you can watch the fisherman haul in their catch at Chatham Fish Pier, grab lunch, or purchase fresh seafood to take home for dinner. Sneak in a round of golf at neighboring Seaside Links. Perhaps you'll be in town to attend a wedding at Chatham Bars Inn? You'll be just steps down the street.
