I live in England with my husband and our two (now grown up) children. We both work here and visit France as often as we can. Having rented many holiday properties in the Alps and along the Mediterranean coast, we decided that we loved this area and would like to buy somewhere of our own in the traditional village of Laroque. After viewing several properties we fell in love with this house – its light, bright and spacious and with wonderful views. From the balcony you can see the Alberes Hills, the Pyrenees and across the plain of Roussillon for miles – Perpignan and the sea at Canet in the distance. From the twin bedroom the view is of the Alberes, the ancient tower in the historic part of Laroque and again across the plain – even to the sea at St Cyprien.
