About Mimi
My family have owned this property for many years and offered it as a rental for over 50 of those years. I spent my summers in this area and where I learned many of the hobbies I still enjoy today. Over the years, we have upgraded the facilities, but have tried to keep the flavor of the beach side home it was always meant to be: clean, comfortable, and a place where sandals and beach shoes rule!
Why This Property?
Chipmont is the name of our cottage, and my family purchased it to be close to an area where dad could offer his fishing guide services. When we were able to also purchase the property next door, Chipmont became a rental property. Unique Benefits
Chipmont has a wonderful view of Chaumont Bay where the sunsets are breathtaking. Although close to town, the cottage is secluded, the waterfront is not busy, and privacy is ensured. Even though it is right on the water, we are not bothered by flies or mosquitoes most of the year; a refreshing breeze usually keeps them away from your activities. Fabulous sunsets
Date of Stay: September 11th , 2015

The location is spectucular. Facing west you see the most beautiful sunsets. Lots of sailboats in the bay. The entire area of Point Salubrius is historic and scenic. Only 5 minutes to town for amenities. Host is fabulous and helpful, her family has a long history in this area. Relaxing for sure.
