Seashells Porthtowan is a light and airy first floor apartment with panoramic sea views from the lounge and kitchen windows. In Summer you can check the waves or watch the sun set over the sea from the living room couch. In winter you can snuggle up and watch the spectacular rough seas.
Seashells is in a quiet location in the laid back coastal village of Porthtowan on the North Cornwall coast, a stone's throw from it's beautiful blue flag surf and family beach. The apartment sleeps 4 in a double room, small twin room with bunk beds, bathroom with over bath electric shower and open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area overlooking the beach.
Everything is available on your doorstep, so you can leave the car at home and spend the whole week barefoot if you prefer. Surf lessons and hire, beachside bar restaurant, village pub, play park, shop, ice-cream parlour and fish and chips are all a short stroll away. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and sea kayaking tours operate nearby (5 minute drive). In winter enjoy exhilarating beach and cliff-top walks straight from your door before snuggling up in the village pub (no need for a designated driver) or back at home to enjoy the view.
The coastal resorts of Perranporth and Newquay, the beautiful cathedral city of Truro and the lovely seaside town of St Ives are all just 20 minutes away.
We like to provide all the things that are important to us when we go on holiday....a great price, early arrival time, all the basics to get you started and lots of little touches to make your stay extra special. Bedlinen and towels (not beach towels), warm cosy throws, books, games and DVDs, washing machine, tumble dryer, wifi, travel cot and highchair are all provided. Electricity is included (no coin/key meter). There is allocated parking just outside.

- Bookings cancelled at minimum 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund.

My husband and I moved to Cornwall 12 years ago as we both love the area and the outdoor way of life it offers. My family were originally from Cornwall and I have fond memories of happy childhood holidays here. We live in Bodmin with our two children and both work in environmental protection.

Why This Property?
We have always wanted to live by the sea and although this is not practical at the moment, buying Seashells was the next best thing. We both fell in love with the apartment for its modern, light and airy interior and amazing view. We love Porthtowan as it is much more laid back than some of the other north coast resorts and has a really chilled out beach vibe and great local community.

Unique Benefits
Porthtowan is in the Cornish Mining World Heritage site and the views of the old engine houses on the cliffs surrounding the village are really quite spectacular. There is something very special about walking the cliffs, watching the waves and listening to the gulls calling and wheeling overhead.
