Gertie was incredible to work with. She was very quick to send all responses along with great detail for check-in and fun things to do around the area. Her home is absolutely gorgeous, with everything you need as if it was your own home! The pool was a delight just to sit back and enjoy with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful sun! ????????Definitely a five-star Retreat!!! I would highly recommend this to everyone! We stayed in Vila II for the month of January 2017 and will definitely return next year. Over the years we've rented several other homes in Venice, but this house exceeded our expectations. Gerty keeps her home in immaculate condition and provides everything you would need for an enjoyable stay with family and friends. The furniture and décor are very chic and add to the charm of the house. The pool area is lovely and extremely private. There are comfortable lounge chairs, a large modern grill and table and chairs for dining or computer work. She has a manager close by who will help with any issues that may come up. We're hoping that one or two of her long-standing tenants will not be returning next year because we would like to rent the house for two or three months. We loved everything about our stay in Gerty's house. It's a beautiful home (modern IKEA style), quiet neighborhood, very clean, everything was there and our 2 toddlers loved the pool, the ferry to the private beach and the toys. Thanks so much for everything!
