Manasota Key Beach is original and natural, Nokimis is still a secret and Siesta Key beach with its world famous white, beautiful shell beach of pure quartz (voted several times the best beach in the USA).
And Parking is free on all of the beaches!
Shamrock Park and Nature Center is only 8 minutes: Play tennis for free or explore Florida's nature, by taking our bicycles on a 17 km long trail or just do a hike. For children there is a large children's playground and basketball court and much more in this gorgeous 32. hectare park.

Large air-conditioned house in quiet area of Venice, with German assistance, free TV, telephone, high speed Internet. For up to 6 people, 1 living room, 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, 1 bath / WC and tub, 1bath / WC and shower. For self-catering you can use a fully equipped open kitchen (4 ceramic hobs with oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer with ice dispenser, dishes, utensils, etc.) with a breakfast counter available. All common household appliances (vacuum cleaner, iron, toaster, gas grill for outdoor use, coffee maker. Etc.) and textiles (towels, sheets, etc.) are present. 4 bikes are also available.
Furthermore, a washing machine and a dryer are waiting for your laundry.

The pool water is purified through a salt unit, which has the advantage that the water is only loaded with little chlorine. The salinity of the water in turn is so low that there is only a little "salty" taste.

About Venice:
Venice is a wonderful mix of Mediterranean architecture combined with a unique tropical atmosphere. It is not the usual "retort cities" on the Gulf Coast , it can refer to a long history and is characterized by a nice village centre, which you can use for a stroll.
Thanks to the Gulf of Mexico, the weather is nice and warm all year round.
It was published some time ago by the magazine "US News", that Venice was voted in the top ten of the best and most beautiful places in the US (and the only city in Florida!) Venice has a good infrastructure, low unemployment, the lowest crime rate in Florida, super beautiful long beaches, good restaurants, a marina, a small private airfield, flight schools, various nature parks, theatres, cinemas, all kinds of shops and doctors in all specialty areas including a hospital on site.
Golfers come from everywhere to play on the award-winning golf courses.
The 'Intracoastal Waterway' (a huge waterway), marvelous bays, various rivers, countless channels and the coastline offer pretty much the best thing that the boat enthusiasts, divers and anglers could want. You can use the jetty of the settlement. Whether you are a fanatic beach goer or just want to relax, Venices numerous long, white sandy beaches offer something for everyone. And the best part is that even in high season the beaches are still not crowded.
The airport of Ft. Myers is 50 min drive from Venice. Other airports are Sarasota (40 min), Tampa (90min), Orlando (150min) and Miami (180min).
In Venice you find a sports airfield, with great training opportunities for private pilots. There are also round and charter flights. There are several boat rentals in Venice. In Florida, it is possible to operate high-performance boats for rent and without a license. It is only a short briefing, which is made from boat rentals, necessary.
For motorcycle enthusiasts, there are two nearby Harley Davidson offices where you can rent bikes.

Reviews
I don’t usually write reviews, especially when there is nothing concerning to warn others about a property. We have rented this house from wonderful, thoughtful hosts, Torsten and Astrid, for several years during the month of February. The house is well maintained, always spotless when we arrive, well stocked with all we need in the kitchen as well as bedding and towels. There are choices of several beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as pool noodles and floating devices. The neighborhood is quiet and we respect the neighbors around us. We enjoy hearing the birds and other wildlife as we sit and enjoy the pool. We give a full recommendation to this property. You you enjoy this home as well as the many offers of great restaurants and shopping in the Venice area for the entire time of your visit. Consider this property for your next vacation.
The house is beautiful with contemporary furnishings, very clean and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner was readily available to offer any help or advice!
Our family was traveling to Venice to visit my Grandma who was celebrating her 80th birthday. The owner, Torsten, was always very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. There were 6 of us staying in this house, including our 1 year old and 4 year old. Everything about this house was perfect for our family. Torsten called us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was good and it was. The house was incredibly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were very comfortable, and there was an abundance of beach supplies in the garage. Great pool! The house had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. When we left, we forgot some clothes in a dresser and the cleaning crew found them shortly after we left. Torsten called us to tell us and we were able to retrieve them right away. Only positive things to say about the entire experience here. Definitely recommend.
