Welcome to Buck & Bear Lodge - enjoy our gorgeous 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom, beautifully furnished log cabin home with breathtaking mountain views. Our cabin is equipped with high speed internet access and Direct TV on all televisions at no extra charge to you.
The over-sized eat in kitchen with granite counter tops has all the amenities a chef may need, including plenty of seating for your family and friends. The eat in kitchen area seats up to 16 people. The spacious island counter provides seating for 3 people and an additional table seats up to 6.
Take in the spectacular views of Mount LeConte and Greenbrier Pinnacle from one of the many decks or take a dip in the hot tub. Outside on the deck is a gas BBQ grill and rocking chairs to sit and relax.
Sit in front of the cozy fireplace and watch the game on the 40” flat screen TV in the main living area while lounging on the comfortable sofas and club chairs. This main level also has two king bedrooms with attached bathrooms. One king bedroom on this level has a romantic, private deck.
Upstairs in the loft, watch a movie on a 60" flat screen HDTV with theater seating for seven people. The upper level also boasts a spacious master suite with private deck and bathroom that includes granite counters, a separate shower and whirlpool tub.
On the lower level is a fantastic game room offering fun for everyone with 5 arcade games, pool table, air hockey, and bubble hockey! The arcade games go well beyond the traditional Ms. Pacman. Buck & Bear Lodge has high-quality racing games that really make you feel like you’re on a snowmobile, motorcycle or high-speed race car.
This level has 4 bedrooms: two bedrooms offer full sized beds and shared bathroom, one king bedroom with private bathroom, and a bunk room perfect for kids with attached full bath. Private decks are available to all rooms, with the exception of the bunk room.
The lower level also has a queen size sleeper sofa and laundry room with washer and dryer.

This is a lesser known park entrance features many beautiful trails, plenty of parking, picnic area, playground and access to the Pigeon River and easy access to Ramsey Cascades which is a hikers favorite.
~ Mills Park is approx 5 miles from the cabin with a playground for the children, and covered picnic tables and grills.
~ Gatlinburg Community Center is approx 7 miles from the cabin. The complex has an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room and showers. Visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex for a small fee.
~ Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by three-time Masters and British Open Championship Winner Gary Player is just a 10 minute drive.
~ Downtown Gatlinburg is just 20 minutes away.
~ Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park is about 15 miles from the cabin.
~ Dollywood and outlet shopping in Pigeon Forge is about 20 miles from the cabin.
Buck & Bear Lodge is located on a mountain road. In the winter, guests may need four-wheel drive or tire chains during heavy snow and ice.

The house is spectacular with great views of the mountains. it is very comfortable and quiet and is pretty well stocked. That being said we would have expected a significantly higher state of readiness and cleanliness for a unit that is over $1,000 a night. Specific things that need to be addressed: 1) the grill was filthy and only a third of the grill was usable, the rest of the grill guts were rusted away 2) the master bath tub was dirty and the jets had mold on them 3) bath to bedroom behind kitchen floor was dirty and tile grout moldy 4) overall the house needs a deep clean--dust and dirt were everywhere 5) broken chair on balcony, ice bucket was broken, hockey game unusable, hockey game had broken player 6) the downstairs bunk room toilet doesn't work nor does the sink 7) several of guest closets are unusable due excessive junk stored in them 8) decks need power washing and railing cap needs repair 9) several of the extra pillows were disgusting--including dried blood on pillow 10) Laundry room has not been swept in a long time and includes old clothes on floor from guests 11) King bedroom sink drain is very slow 12) many of the carpets and rugs are really old and dirty. The entrance mat is very worn and tattered 13) entrance sign needs to be cleaned so it can be read. It is so weathered it is very easy to miss. We would suggest taking off the market for a week and taking the time to get it back to its original state. we would also suggest a new cleaning company as they are doing a very poor job.
We loved our week at Bear & Buck. There was plenty of space for our group of 16. The house was well stocked (except for glasses). Everyone was entertained by the game room and the gorgeous views from every deck. It was at least a 15 minute drive to anywhere, but being in the peacefulness of the mountains was worth it. Danielle was great...she took care of all of our needs. Fabulous home!!

Highly recommend! We enjoyed our weekend at Bear & Buck. The views were spectacular and it was easy to relax in this house! The rooms were well situated and had all that we needed. The arcade was perfect for a crowd of children (no one had to wait on a game!) and the hot tub was much enjoyed on the cold evenings. We did not cook because we did take away meals so I can't speak into cooking equipment but there were not many large serving bowls which were needed as we were feeding 20 people. Otherwise, everyone had a great visit here and more than once guests commented on how, even though we were 20 people, we did not feel like we were on top of each other and no one had to wait on the bathroom! Highly recommend!
We booked this cabin for a last minute family trip to Gatlinburg. The owner was accommodating and friendly and made this impromptu trip very easy and quick to book!!! The property was beautiful and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely come back again!
We had 3 generations staying at the Buck n Bear! 16 people ranging in age from 11 to 74 stayed comfortably in this gorgeous cabin. There were a few minor hiccups with cleanliness at the beginning of our stay, but Danielle handled everything very quickly. We truly enjoyed the beautiful views from every room and the game room was a big hit with everyone!
